Beautiful looking car. I've always loved cars of the 50s. Don't know why, as I wasn't around during the 1950s. But compared to cars of today, I find them way more attractive than most cars offered today. 🙂
chrvies in canada had pontiac clones, built on chevy bodies, with chevy dashboard and chevy motors, built in oshawa, ont. full size pontiacs in 1958, were stratochief, laurentian and parisienne and were sold and built in other countries, just like canadian chevies were.
The designer of the 58 Chevy should have been canonized saint. It broke away from all previous years, and never did attain the same iconic status subsequently.
Sweet!!! Just like the one I had, except mine had a 348 that was a good engine, not like some other lemon 348s. Mine was brown and white. Wish I didn’t let it go in the early 1970s, what a mistake.
I'm surprised as sweet looking as that is with the two-tone paint and everything that's actually a 6-cylinder car. Obviously they built a ton of those back then but with the really Cherry paint I would have fully figured it would have been at least a 283 if not a 348 under the hood got to love those x-frame Chevys, frankly the only Chevys that I really like
Beautiful car, I drove one all thru high school, 283, 2 barrel, duals, glasspacks, Quadraphonic radio, Aqua green/white, hardtop, Turboglide trans, really nice looking good running car, Dave
I was 14 the day my uncle showed up in his brand new Aqua '58, and I was so bitterly disappointed at not being old enough to drive; I felt sure he'd lend it to me to take my GF out if I were. Hard to shake that feeling back then.
I really like it 6 cyl and all! What I don't like are those fender mounted mirrors! Why anyone would drill HOLES in the fenders is beyond me! Otherwise I love it!

I cant wait to get started restoring my 58 Bel Air! Just received it as a birthday gift from Dad. He has a 58 chevy truck and mom has a 65 mustang.

This is a dam fine car .Rare four door Bel Air with a 6 that sounds runs like new. Original stock rare add curb feelers and away we go.
My parent's owned a '58 back in the early '60s. I believe that model year stood out from the rest of Chevrolet's.

My parents had one just like this same color except had a 283 v8 they bought it new in June 1958 and it lasted till Aug 1971
Thanks. I had a 1958 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop,similar to the one in the video. It had a V8 Engine in it.The car was very beautiful.

Why are the mirrors on the fenders,you can't adjust them when sitting inside the car, they should be on the doors near the vent windows.
