Just curious how you feel about the following list: Krennic - No upgrades (just for the 4th Deathtrooper) Death Trooper 1 - DLT-19D, Offensive Push, Comms Relay, and E-11D (Comms Relay so you can give Krennic back the order and have a 50% at stormtrooper or deathtrooper) Death Trooper 2,3,4 - DLT-19D, Offensive Push, Emergency Stims, E-11D Stormtrooper 1,2 - DLT-19 Stormtrooper 3,4 -FX-9 Medical Droid Total of 798. Haven't played it yet but I feel like it do pretty well against any list its put up against.
I think it looks like a lot of fun, and will be incredible against other gunlines. The real hurdle for it to get over would be a melee skew list. You’d need to be very careful with your distancing!
Got a question about DT + Emperor build. Is it really legal to use "pulling the strings" to attack twice ? I thought that you are allowed to make only one attack action per turn. Ability description clearly says that friendly squad can make a free attack action, not an attack.
Ah, I think I understand the miscommunication. I’m meaning that a unit gets to attack twice in the round (once on their turn, and once on Palp’s turn), not twice in a single activation.
@@TeamRelentless Thanks for clarification. I'm quite new to Legion, so that was an aftermath of my bad understanding of rules (one attack action per turn, not per activation). Now i can see how powerful "pulling the strings" really is. Really appreciate your materials. Plenty of inspirations.
Shores/Mortars can plink away nicely with Critical 1, but that’s of course not going to be as reliable as something with Impact or surge to crit. I think if you really want to run DTs and you’re concerned about armor, you should probably bring Bossk.
So with her getting those buffs, I now rate DTs + DT-F16 as the most defensively points efficient special forces unit in the game (followed closely by Clan Wren). That being said, your range 4 firepower really falls off without the DLT. I wonder about running them alongside Iden and positioning in order to try to get that sweet-sweet range 2 pistol shot. Lastly, Compel can win games. While I don't think you take her because of that keyword, it's a nice bonus. ~Ben

I know every body like Iden with only OP but i realty like the 2 DT with range 4 and here with the DLT-20a and here droid seeker for the pip2. I find here so versatile.long and short range. BTW i have been playing for 6 month so still a new player and your video help a lot ( and i m french so sorry for all the mistake )
I think both of those lists look both fun to play and like they can for sure win games. I think I personally slightly prefer the second list to the first. The most important thing, however, is how you play the list. You've clearly thought out the reasons why you've built them the way you have, so if you have your reps in with them, they should work great! Glad you've found the videos helpful! I just got an empire army and plan on adding more. I was thinking of going full on desthroopers for all special spots while Krennic for a entourage. Making s total of 4, plus a LAAT LE transport to move my space Navy Seals where needed and provide covering fire. Combined with the basic 2 stormtroopers, would that be a decent thematic army? Of course Id put some AT in there just in case.
So you’ll have to have at least three corps troopers for a legal standard army. As far as using the LAAT to drop off some DTs in grenade mode, that sounds like a lot of fun (and extremely thematic).

I just came here to tell you that my DTs rolled 7 hits on Mandolorians in the open ... THREE times. And ALL THREE TIMES the Mandos rolled 7 blocks...
Never tell Mandos the odds (especially the week season 2 comes out, apparently)!
