New Pigeon Coop "NikNak's Opera House"

- Building decent sized pigeon coop for the flock in the Catskill Mountains, upstate New York USA. Summer 2020.
Most all these pigeons were born on our rooftop in Brooklyn over the last several years. They've taken to this mountain air happily.
The design and execution of pigeon architecture is an underground movement present in all corners of the globe; championed by bird-loving amateur carpenters. This school of architecture is an ever-ripe exploration of bricolage; an art of making do and getting by with local material and vernacular. An art of repair, repair, repair. An art of gettin tossed around by mother nature.

That view is nothing short of perfect specially for a homing pigeon coop.

It will keep you nice n fit building and having the loft up there.its probly the beautifullest position ive ever seen a loft.the birds should love it .they will be super fit with nice fesh air and being chased by the preditilors.good luck buddy.from Australia.

the coops still there in brooklyn and we'll return, just adventuring up here, pigeons are gonna destroy bushwick after trainin on the the mountain!

What made you want homing aka racing pigeons to begin with ? Also how many bird did you lose when you first let them out ?? How you do any research about pigeons ??
i mainly fly stock birds, cause thats the brooklyn way! rollers, flights, tiplets, that's what my neighbors put me onto. I'm from Bushwick, the pigeon flying capital of the USA, bar none. right now im up on a mountain in NY, but check out earlier videos on the brooklyn roof..

I would say you have to do more research ? A ideal pigeon loft if way better . Your it's good for a beginner but I don't think you truly understand what it is to be a pigeon flyer ?! 🙏🙏🙏🤞 .

Some people just can't let others do there thing without pooping on it ! My man built that loft with his own hands , you can hear the enjoyment when you watch your birds gettin it in the air ! MUCH LOVE ! KEEP BIRDING OUT !!!! As we say on the WEST COAST ! 🙏
He asked his pigeons what they thought about their new home and they were thrilled with it. Free home, free food, beautiful view, what more could a pigeon ask for.
