From what ive been told, none of the whites have been homed before. Came from two different places. Kind of afraid to let them out though. What do you mean by losing them?
Hidden Hollow Loft if they have never been out of the loft before now and are fully feathered you might have some difficulty getting them back but it is possible to break them in, when we breed young we have them on the landing board as soon as they are weaned off, just gives them better chance to soak in their surroundings, put a cage on top of the loft and put them in that every day for a week, it worked with ours when they were that age All the best buddie
Dont know where you're at but I see lots of green and trees. Hawks are definitely going to be a problem . The sooner you get those Homers going . . The better. The rollers? Ohh boy , I quit raising those! Its was an aerial Cafeteria for the birds of prey!!! As far as your birds breeding on the floor..its due to the pair not being able to "get " a breeding box. Make sure you have enough for each pair and lock them in there at least for a few hrs a day until each pair settles in. Great video. Thanks for sharing!

Great white bird loft. Very healthy looking birds too. I have the same with my birds.. I build nesting boxes & they nest on the floor.. ha

I use bricks and put them under the legs of my kit box.

You should of left them in the nest box till they laid the eggs then let them out nice set up
Where do you buy the v shaped perches?
I made all mine but I think you can buy them from certain pigeon supply stores. I use the plastic ones now days. They are cheap and easy to clean.
Looking good, at least they did not lay the eggs in front of the door. I have had that done before, had to move a little at a time everyday.
Right? I'm trying to get a flock for sure....
