Thanks Brenda, not the way we imagined our trip ending but just seems to be happening alot across Europe, we were just thankful to get home and Samantha's bag was found and returned within a couple of days....
Thanks Samantha & Caolan, so glad you got back home safely, albeit the delayed luggage. I thought taxis at the airport in Croatia would be abundant since they'd make money from arrivals, so I thought that was strange?! I really felt your pain as 10 years ago I was travelling with my father & my flight from Manchester to Dhaka was delayed by 24 hours due to a fault with the plane flying with Bangladesh Biman, but luckily we were put up in a nearby hotel & fed too. It's such a shame that it's become a farce now with luggage going missing, but I guess you've to be thankful since you were reunited with it in the end. I'm looking forward to your next big adventure & hope it's somewhere exotic! Have a truly beautiful week my friends 🤗
Cheers Rue, yeah definitely was an unexpected adventure but none the less we tried to make the most of it, we were disappointed with the lack of transport from the airport but thankfully we found that bus. Its such a lottery travelling right now in Europe regarding cancellations, delays and lost luggage, to be fair this is the first time this has happend to us since we starting travelling so cant complain too much i guess, thanks again for watching and hope you have a lovely week 🙏

Hello Samantha and Caolan from the US. I happened upon your Sail Croatia vlog last week as I am reviewing trips for this cruise. This would be our first time taking a trip to Croatia. We really enjoyed watching your videos. This was informative and looks like much fun! Couple questions; you mentioned the heat a few times. What month did you go? Also, if you feel comfortable discussing, can you give some information about tipping the crew. Bummer about all the flight delays🙁. Definitely a stressful way to end a wonderful vacation, but you both seemed to take it in stride. You have great energy together! Hope to hear back. 🙂
Wow. nice adventure out there. Travelling is not easy these days especially after the covid, where the airlines are not operating as it used to be earlier. There is always shortage of staff so baggage delays are common now a days. Good to see you guys reaching back safely.
Definitely agree with you, its not easy right now. Thankfully we made it home and Samantha's bag arrived a couple of days later too, we were relieved to get that bag back.....

We were so happy to get home and have a hot shower after all the running around….nice guess, Japan is hopefully going to be part of our trip but it’s not the next country, also they weren’t Covid jabs, they were tropic vaccines so that’s another clue 😃

You poor things! I was so nervous for you on that road in the dark! It was more like a 30-minute walk, thank goodness for that bus! 😰🤪
The road was definitely the most upsetting part, thankfully the bus drove by and we managed to get on ❤️

Travelling alone too risky now with all the delays. It was a risk before. I wouldn't fancy that lonely walk to the hotel.
Yes we agree, right now travel can be alot of hassle, thankfully we made it home and we got samantha's bag a couple of days later....
