Death is the only certainty for all of us unfortunately. I do get what you mean though, especially when they die particularly young despite being in almost perfect condition. I sort of look at it that you can take too much care for yourself. Like if we didn't expose babies to illnesses whilst they're young, they might not get ill for a long long time, but when they eventually do, their body will be unprepared for it and even what would be a simple illness could be deadly. I believe athletes protect their body from so much bad stuff (always clean eating, living life in the most optimal conditions etc) that when they inevitably encounter sub optimal conditions they're not prepared for it. Or maybe I'm completely off the mark and it's all just chance. Apologies for the long reply I just find it interesting 😂
