    That’s what my obgyn is telling me. Take care of my gut. I didn’t know I had endometriosis until my 40s. But I always experienced painful menstrual issues since started having periods. It was adenomyosis. Now that I’m menopause, I still experienced pelvic pain like I’m having my period. It was even more painful when I got covid lately. I experienced fibromyalgia and migraines. I took all the vitamins you stated, but I worry if I’m taking too much especially vitamin d.

      Thanks for sharing your experience. Adenomyosis is very much like endometriosis. I need to create a video about this connection. Check out my latest video on how hysterectomy will not cure your endometriosis! Should come out next week!

      Thank you! As you know, i cannot give medical advice on this platform. But when i see patients with low vitamin D levels, I often recommend Vitamin D3 2000IU a day.

      We see women with endometriosis often are at risk for cardiovascular disease. Some supplements that can help are cod liver oil (Omega 3, vitamin D, Vitamin A in one), magnesium glycerinate.

      GREAT question! I feel like cod liver oil for patients is a complete source, particularly as it contains vitamin A, a known anti-inflammatory!!!!

    Does BHRT make endometriosis grow?

    • @consciousgynecologist
      @consciousgynecologist  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s a great question! We do have cases of women in menopause who suffer from endometriosis. We know that endometriosis needs gut disturbance and hormones.

      Medications can be very helpful! Good for you to find something that helps your endometriosis. Many women also find relief with lifestyle changes as well as using medical therapy. Then at times, they will taper off the medication. Work with your provider to see what is best for you.

      Depo wrecks havoc on most women’s hormones/ reproductive health longterm. Sterilizing yourself indefinitely of course has side effects. Focusing on Gut health, sleep, deficiencies, pain meds, should help you too whether you continue or not.

    Is vtamin A a retinol?

    • @consciousgynecologist
      @consciousgynecologist  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it comes in various forms, retinol, beta carotene, and retinal. Retinol is preferred because it doesnt require conversion steps in the gut as the others do. Retinol is often found in animal sources like tinned tuna, animal liver, eggs.

      @@consciousgynecologist can we get it in a form of a supplement pill instead?

    • @consciousgynecologist
      @consciousgynecologist  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sure can! It is most commonly found in Cod Liver oil supplement capsules. As one's gut heals, folks can start to also tolerate direct animal sources in an even better way! @@myvideochannel6404
