Hey everyone quick note virtualcamera2actor may not on by default, it can be found under engine-plugins-virtualcameraContent-depreciated-v2, you may not be able to get it to work with the default virtual camera, awesome turorial and thanks for the help

@@vicentequispe2805 in the content browser under all youll see your content folder, click settings to show engine content and from there go inside the engine folder then go to plugins then virtual cameracontent then depreciated and the bp should be there

I use CamTrackAR for getting camera movement data in, but I can see how monitoring the video in unreal is way better. You can actually see what you’re recording.

This worked for a while, but have you been able to get latest 5.1.1 VCAM working with pixel streaming as shown at Unreal Fest 2022? I'm about to drop a 50 lb kettlebell on my iPad. Enjoying your channel!

Could it run in play mode? Cause some animation only trigger in play mode..If it doesnt work in paly mode it means nothing for me..
Great video bro, one question, can you actually get a moving shot, or does it just work stationary? can you walk while recording the shot ? how far do you think the range would be to get a walking camera animation ? Considering it works with wifi, thanks

What do you mean by using the vive trackers ? You need it for this? I have the first vive .. but I didn’t know about it.
i track camera using the vive pro atm and no you dont need it if you have an iphone like im showing here

Can't find the Virtualcamera under the Virtualcamera Override Gamemode, anyone else? All required Plugin are activated. UE5.3
Was wandering how come we still cannot use an iPhone as a tracker for Virtual Production combine with a real camera for everyone here, why ? Will try ask unreal, because is there the solution for everyone. Thanks @JSFILMZ for sharing with us!

when i try connecting the virtual camera everthing turns white, am i missing something?
Great video as always👏, in 5.1 preview i cant find virtualcamera 2 actor i only find vcam. After connecting my phone in livelink and enabeling the vcam settings it janks up and doesn't show on my phone screen nor the viewport
yup same here i don't know why this happened
and now preview 2 released and this issue still
I fixed it lool
go to the project setting then scroll all the way down to virtual camera section and change the Default VCam Class to (VirtualCamera2Actor)

Do you know what iPad it does work on? I'm going to see if I can borrow one to test. The iPhone gets way too hot for some reason. I see what you mean about the screen. Too tiny. An iPad on a rig would be great

Best subscribe I have had in a while now on a side note, no matter what I do for live link I cannnnnnot get my latest gen iPad to show up in message bus sources. Not sure if you have some expert knowledge in this area but bro I will love you forever if you could possibly give some help. Or someone in the comments that sees this pleaaaaase help. Willing to pay money 🤑💰 have lost countless hours. Weirdly virtual app (android camera) connects instantly
