- I lived in Taipei, Taiwan for 6.5 years and then I moved back to London, England last Christmas 2022 for 6 months. After 6 months I was ready to go back to Taiwan. This time I moved into an apartment in Taichung, Taiwan! The monthly rental is 21,000ntd which translates to £522 per month. I love a loft over just a standard apartment for me it's about the looks that's more spacious to me!! This apartment complex looks Amazing 💟 and very modern!! As a single woman I would be living alone!! How is the security there? I hope it's good 👍🏽!! What part of the country is Taichung located in are there many good shopping 🛍️ stores around and do you recommend this area to anyone looking to move there!! Hello lovely, I’m glad I can help. There are a lot of modern apartments here especially in Taichung and they are affordable. Taiwan is completely safe and security is good. I wouldn’t worry about safety as a consideration when coming over here. But I would worry about the shopping, it’s not the greatest. I have a difficult time trying to find things that fit my shape so I usually order from online stores. Taichung is a great city and it’s very chill and up and coming. Taipei is the capital city and very popular. It’s full of westerners and has a great subway system. Good nightlife options too. I would recommend Taichung if you’re looking to have a more laid back lifestyle and it’s cheaper than Taipei for sure. I hope this helps 🌸🌹🧡💛

Also how are the jobs in that province
