Larry this is exactly what we have been looking for. Couple questions for you. 1 do you involve a structural engineer to make sure the foundation is not going to be adversely affected? 2. Can you provide a rough costs for something like this? 3. Could you mitigate the water by digging down and backfilling with gravel then installing the drain and concere?
This is awesome ! We have yet to have any builder plans that call for this on a basement conversion, but if we ever do we won't say no, this looks great.
Finally a basement entry that doesn’t look creepy or claustrophobic.

This is far beyond amazing. This is more than I ever even imagined could be done with a traditional house. Fantastic job.
One of the nicest basement walkouts I've seen for the limited space available
Well done Larry! This is exactly what I'm looking for to drain rain water. Excellent idea.

Love this. Exactly what I’ve been looking for as well. What is the ballpark price I’d be looking at to get something like this done?
For sake of an argument, around 25K
Nice design

@juliolara8661 The digging is the one part that you should be DIYing!
This is a similar set up we have and our basement flooded
Nice.
The snow comment was just pointless 😂
