White Peak, 5 Dales tour, EMTB

Riding a route from the guidebook south east of Bakewell. A variety of trails and landscapes and a bonus in finding the Nine Ladies Stone circle on Stanton Moor near Birchover. Starting at Darley Bridge then following a track up to Beeley Moor. Descending towards Northwood to follow a track through the woods then emerging to skirt around Beeley and Hell Bank plantations. A nice long descent then to cross the river flowing south from Chatsworth. To Calton Houses and Calton Pastures descending through a wood towards Rowsley then onto a brief section of the A6 to Haddon Hall car park. A delightful lunch spot on the river Lathkill before going through Youlgreave and on to Birchover. After coffee at the Druid Inn it was exploring Stanton Moor to find the Nine Ladies Stone Circle. There will be better ways to exit Stanton Moor than the route I took, after that it returning to the car park at Darley Bridge.
