as far as i know Palazzo Barberini is the place where the princess(audrey's role) was accommodated and Palazzo Colonna was the place where press conference (one scene) held in the movie >

I love your channel and I've been watching all your videos in preparation for my trip to Rome, Florence, and Venice at the end of June! I was wondering if you could tell me about the culture of tattoos in Italy. I'm pretty heavily tattooed on my arms and I'm wondering if I should plan outfits to always be covering my tattoos. Of course I will cover them when in churches and the Vatican, but will I attract a lot of attention wearing a sleeveless dress just walking around Rome? I did some solo travel in Paris a few years ago and I got so much attention for my tattoos, everyone commented on them and I even had men coming up and touching my arms. I will be with my husband this time so hopefully it won't be too bad, but I wonder if I should just plan on bringing a linen cardigan everywhere.
I would not worry about it in Italy! So many people here have at least one tattoo. I've seen tons of women walking around with lots of tattoos in small summer dresses without attracting some crazy attention....then again, this is Italy, so men will be looking regardless🤣 But I doubt that someone will actually approach. Have the most amazing time!

Hi Roby! In Italy finding a long-term place is an adventure. Took me over 3 months. Immobiliare is the most popular website of course, but you would still need to see the place before you sign a lease. What I actually did was I got airbnb and stayed there while looking for a place.

Stay away from "touristy" restaurants, take enough time to see the sites but at the same time to sit in a cafe and just relax, make a trip to Burano (or Murano), accept that things are happening on Italian time and enjoy every moment :)

Good luck getting tickets on co op culture for the Domus Aurea, it does not work.The only way is to pay 3x the official price from re sellers (ticker touts)
Adding to my list, now, so thank you! Can you tell me how strict the policies are about length of shorts at the various cathedrals? I’m concerned about my 2 teenage sons and their sport shorts that come to about their knees. It’ll be so hot to make them wear pants but I definitely want to follow the rules. We weren’t planning to carry a backpack but we could if we needed to bring pants for them to put on before we enter certain places. I’ll always be covered so it’s just them and my husband in their shorts that I worry about! Thanks!

@@yingxiao9626 we’ve now been to 3 holy places and no one batted an eye at my son’s Under Armour shorts or my husbands long cargo shorts. They ALMOST hit the knee. There are too many people for the guards to pay attention to an inch or so above the knee, especially on a teenager or a man. To be honest, I think if it was a young woman in a short skirt they would have more to say. Have a great trip!

Hi Crystal! It depends on the area, to be honest. In central Rome, most areas are pretty safe. For example, I live in the Spanish Steps area (which considered one of the safest in Rome) and I can walk here by myself even at 3am.
