    My name is Zahi Shaked
In 2000 I became a registered licensed tourist guide.
My dedication in life is to pass on the ancient history of the Holy Land.
Following upon many years of travel around the world, which was highlighted by a very exciting emotional and soul-searching meeting with the Dalai Lama, I realized that I had a mission. To pass on the history of the Holy Land, its religions, and in particular, the birth and development of Christianity.
In order to fulfill this "calling" in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters)
Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, "glide" over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water, and "see" the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many-faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be implanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.

Yes there were tables. Scripture has many verses talking about eating at tables. They had no chairs, but reclined on the floor at tables. Just a few examples:
Luk_24:30 When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them.
Luk_11:37 While Jesus was speaking, a Pharisee asked him to dine with him, so he went in and reclined at table.
Mar_7:28 But she answered him, “Yes, Lord; yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs.”
Mar_14:18 And as they were reclining at table and eating, Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me, one who is eating with me.”
Luk_14:15 When one of those who reclined at table with him heard these things, he said to him, “Blessed is everyone who will eat bread in the kingdom of God!”

Herod was an IDUMAEAN, the SAME actual ethnicity as the YuDiMiM (JUDES!) 😯🥸

    • @richarddemuth7077
      @richarddemuth7077 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

TWO things lead me to conclude that is NOT the sarcophagus of 👑 Herod Antipater. One is that it is highly UNlikely that, given Herod's paranoidal nature and KNOWING how much the Judes HATED him, was going to construct a burial monument for himself that would be an OBVIOUS 🎯 for desecration after his ☠️. Secondly, archaeology has revealed a "secret", blocked up passageway IN the "crater" of the Herodium that leads to a sealed chamber at one side. There is NO obvious purpose for this chamber NOR for the fact that it was deliberately HIDDEN since the time of Herod. In one end wall of the slightly oblong chamber there is an arcosolium, or arched niche with a shelf wall on which something like ash ⚱️s could be placed. It would be MORE likely that Herod, wanting to imitate ancient Roman custom and PREVENT the possible desecration of his corpse, would have been CREMATED and then had his ashes placed in an ⚱️ to be kept in a special, hidden chamber. The peculiar thing is, when the Herodium was excavated in the 1960's-70's, NO ⚱️s were found in the chamber!! This MIGHT be because someone in ancient times who KNEW the secret of the funeral chamber ENTERED it by boring through the floor of the upper level and down into it to STEAL the ⚱️ and DUMP Herod's ashes; while of course KEEPING the probably 🪙 or 🥈 vessel as a treasure for themselves. THIS would EXPLAIN why the chamber 🧱 and the passageway to it remained SEALED CLOSED when found and of course the ceiling of it being 🪵 that would have rotted away long ago causing eventual collapse of it into the chamber sometime long AFTER the theft occurred.
I mention this with the deduction that the sarcophagus and its burial monument might therefore have been a "CENOTAPH", or EMPTY "ceremonial tomb", for the purpose of display and distraction from the GENUINE location. This would mean that the pompous funeral of Herod, as described in Josephus' History, was a SHAM carrying NO body (or maybe a FAKE one) to fool his Judish subjects into THINKING that his preserved body was being ostentatiously entombed when in fact he had already been CREMATED and SECRETLY placed in the hidden chamber subsequently blocked up with stone 🧱.

The finding of that 🦴box was peculiar. I remember the 🗞️ headlines about the discovery back in the early '90's. It was like a complementary REPEAT of the early 1960's discovery of the "Pilate Inscription" 🪦.
What strikes me as STRANGE about the ossuary is that the design of the box is so ornate as befitting that for the burial of a chief priest, BUT the lid is so PLAIN; as if it doesn't belong with the box! Another peculiarity is that the name WASN'T properly and carefully INSCRIBED by carving in the stone but simply SCRATCHED ON; as if by a 📌 or a ⛏️!! Finally, the name on it is "QaYPHa" or "KaYPHa" for "Caiaphas"; which according to BOTH the History of Josephus AND the "Gospels" was the name of HIS FATHER. His actual name was "YoSePH bar QaYPHa"/ Joseph son of Caiaphas.

There is no connection between the two things. Herod's family converted to Judaism. These are two different religions

Nice theory. Now you have to prove that Josephus lied. Until then I'm staying with Josephus.
