I take Metformin for type 2 diabetes and I've tested positive with 2 different companies over the years during pre hire drug screenings, I always inform a company during the interview process that I'm on certain medication for type 2 diabetes, that's exactly why the 1st company hired me, and I've submitted my prescriptions to the MRO, so I'm waiting on the feed back🤞

Thanks. In my experience if you can prove you were taking the medication for a legitimate condition the MRO will not count as a positive with some exception. I can’t speak with certainty in all cases however.

I had an old prescription for Percocet 5-325 from a surgery on my chest and just recently hurt my back I thought I’d be OK to take just one of these to help with my pain. In about a month I will have to do a hair follicle test. I do not want to fail and have not taken anything since my surgery will an old prescription be OK? Or will this no even show up.

As long as you have a valid prescription it’s fine I am prescribed adddral and Xanax for years and always take dot tests . A medical examiner will call you after to validate ur prescription
no kratom is not tested. only way to test for it is a specaility test which never happens unless its like porbation and rehab, and even then most dont test for that. im a 2 year user and passed many tests

Kratom can pop as methadone, fentanyl or Suboxone. Speaking from personal experience. Just don't take it the day of.

I recently had my Adderall and held it up for my union entry and then I'm going to have a urine test at Pfizer which is going to be more instant results screen. This drug screen is something that company is doing for all the employees that work on site primarily because they are pharmaceutical company I believe and their security is fairly tight there. I've obtained a letter from my doctor for one of my prescriptions but for the adderal the doctor's assistant just printed out a list on their company letterhead of all my prescriptions it includes some milk and some old as well as the one in question and the date it was written. It also shows that I have are there medications that I'm currently supposed to be painting that I would rather they don't know about since it doesn't affect my ability to do my job and it is nobody's Business. I'm very private person I do however understand needing to clear amphetamine use versus legitimate prescriptions for narcolepsy.

So I failed mine before even taking the DT because at the time I was on Suboxone and Valium which I even had a Doctors note saying I was fine to drive on and they wouldn't even let me take the DT I was blown away!
I'm on Suboxone and I passed mine twice. Don't know if the combo with Valium matters though
@@c.l.freeman7654 To be honest I think they were just a shitty clinic that didn't give a shit, that was about 5 yrs ago in North Carolina. When I moved back to NY still on those meds they didn't even ask, I showed them the bottles and that was that..also as I'm sure you know, you need a 16 panel test if they're looking for Suboxone which at least in my case had never been an issue because they've all been 9 panel tests..

One of our coworkers went for a DOT physical, and this person would take Xanax every once in a great while as needed, and they told him that he would fail if he did not empty out the bottle and not take them anymore. The doctor said it was federal regulation and that you cannot take Xanax and drive a truck. Is this true? And if so, what else can he take Legally so he does not fail his DOT test

I had a dear friend on Xanax,a benzodiazepine like Klonopin. She had never done an illegal drug in her life. But her teenager was driving her crazy due to her bad behavior. My friend hardly ever slept trying to make sure her teenager was safe. Her Dr. Prescribed the Xanax so she could sleep. Then she was in a horrible car accident and was placed on pain pills because she had severe damage to her spine. Then the state government passed a law that a person could not take Benzo’s and pain medication.Her Dr. took her off the Xanax cold turkey. She learned later that any patient should be gradually taken off. She never slept and was suicidal but never told anyone but me. She literally almost lost her mind but survived. I’m telling her story to warn people about the dangers. She discovered a TH-cam channel discussing this law and the devastation to so many. Thousands committed suicide going through the withdrawals. Just a warning to everyone to be careful. I truly believe her Dr. should have been sued but she’s not that kind of person. So glad she survived. She said it’s the worse thing she’s ever gone through. 😢😢

Im not on any prescriptions and dont use drugs and failed a pre employment urine test today. All I ate was a ham,salami, pepperoni, swiss sandwhich the night before with a mt dew. I stopped taking vitamins and optimum nutrition whey protein shake 2 weeks ago. Pretty sure I lost my job offer. I did chug a glass of water within an hour of taking the test also. Guess Im screwed. What are the values in your Hair? If the cut off is to low your telegen hair might be the problem. Since 10-15% of your hair go into sleeping mode. And stop growing and since they stop growing they stay in your hair.
Trazadone can be misread on a drug test for benzos i don’t understand how but it just does show up positive for benzos

If your prescribed medication from your primary doctor and you don't put it down on the dot application because you don't want the dot physician to know so you can get a 2 year medical card instead of 1 year. Can the dot physician find out you lied about it.

I got a buddy that told me he is on blood pressure medicine. But he always marks no on the part he fills out (when it mentions having high blood pressure). He says all they know is that his blood pressure is normal when they do the physical. He gets a 2 year card. I’m on blood pressure medicine, and can’t make myself lie on the paper. So I get a 1 year card.

marinol only has an fda indication for end stage aids (very rare) or weight gain in late stage cancer. as a pharmacist i only filled about 2-3 scripts per year because end stage aids in the US is virtually nonexistent outside of hospital care and the end stage cancer patients who take it tend to have disability and are not doing preemployment drug screens and also do not live very long after starting due to cachexia.

at minimum you will need a clearance letter
typically ritalin does not pop false positive for amphetamines on the most common 10 panel.
