Hi James, great little project but I’m Mike has thought about it but I would suggest that you change the cam belt’s (there’s a dry belt and a wet belt)those Ford engines have quite a short service interval and if the belt breaks they are not a safe engine so it’s a lot more work than changing the belts.👍
love it .. when i was a student about 89/90 worked on a farm where we covered about 900ac with a D2 doing all the spraying and spreading at 12 metre but that said there was always two of us keeping in suppled with fert or water to keep it moving and on hot days would take it truns with it being 50 plus in the cab !!! .. we used a chain winch to take the sparyer on and off and loader for fert spreader and changing wheels because it was a pain useing jacks with different wheel heights (good old days lol) that said two people after a bit of practice can swoop all four wheels and the attachment easy in 30 minutes ... it was kept well serviced and every day given a wash off ... the faults we had was no air con and the narrows wheels needed to be a couple of inchs wider which both could fixed
Nice video you should buy a digger like a MF 50HX restore that. My uncle has one and they are incredibly handy machines from what I've seen. When I was over to meet all the irish fam we knocked down a couple rotten trees together and dug out an old overgrown trench and they still have the loader to loader work around the yard. Fitting a loader to the SAME would be nice to see aswell.
@@finditfixitfarmit Yes of course, my uncle checked the price to restore his Ford 5000, 10000 euro and that can really be justified in his mind, not really in minw either to be honest.
Hi James + Mike, the Agribuggy runs well and now stops well, that will be a good little project for you and Max fitting a flat bed. Is the buggy fitted with the Escort 5 speed gearbox or is it a 4x4 gear box with 4 or 5 speeds. I couldn't make the Denbighshire and Flintshire show this time a few mates went along on Friday and enjoyed it only 35-40 mins away, a lot of machinery from New Holland, JCB, John Deer, Land Rover, Same, Kobota. Toyota and Ifor Williams trailers so I had the catalogues from these manufactures. As always a great video Take care

Thanks Daniel. I would like to do some proper restores at some point, time and money with them is the issue.
