- The Husqvarna 562XP is a popular model of pro saw that has been available for a decade now. The 562XP features 2nd generation Husqvarna AutoTune, a magnesium crankcase, a 3 piece crankshaft, and other Husqvarna branded features like LowVibe, Air Injection, and RevBoost. Over the years small changes have been made to the 562XP to improve it's durability and performance. Early models had some issues with the crankcase gasket and crankshaft bearing seals. Changes were made to these parts and now again Husqvarna has made a few more changes to parts of the 562XP all while keeping the same size and design as the original year 1 version.

I have had my 562xp auto tune for about 7 or 8 years,it's a beast, a lot better than the stihl it replaced.
The 562XP has been a good seller for us for years.
Clutch cover
Chains brake
Care an open end wrench and use that wrench to unlock your chain brake.
The chain brake is located in the Clutch cover.

Between the original mishap , short blocking w/ labor / tooling + the earlier designs short comings regarding this model's bottom end ... does make an reasonable argument for the clam saw owners .

I run a 30” bar on mine occasionally and it loves it
It's a strong running saw that gets lost in the shuffle these days behind the 572XP and the resurrection of the 372XP
@@EshlemaniaTV love the 372 , I have a jonsered 2172 and I learned to cut with a 372 love that saw hopefully one day that 372 will be mine also

What problems did you have,is it a reliable model ?
We have had no issues with this 562XP. It has been very reliable. As mentioned in the video though there were early models that had some issues and Husqvarna has addressed them.
This guy vs the echo 620p what's your take , I have a 620p and I love it , but I ordered one of these through my local dealer and I've been waiting for it since March , also waiting for echo to get me my 7310 but I've only been waiting a month for that but when I get them I'm gonna buck like a bronco lol
I like the 562XP over the CS-620P. The CS-620 is a great saw, but once you learn the correct way to run an Autotune saw you usually don't want to go away from it. I think the CS-620P doesn't feel as maneuverable as the 562XP. If I was going out to buy a new Echo chainsaw with a 20" or longer bar I would pass over the CS-620P and go right to the CS-7310 because I think the CS-7310 is just that much better and is a heck of a bargain for the power you get. If Echo dealers could keep the CS-7310 in stock consistently I believe the CS-7310 would take a big cut into CS-620P sales, but right now it's just grab what you can and be glad you were able to find something because dealer inventory for all brands is so low. On the Husqvarna side, I think the 562XP has enough to offer that it takes a little more contemplating to spend the extra money and jump up to a 572XP.
@@EshlemaniaTV luckily I have both coming lol I'm glad you agree about the 7310 I think that it's amazing for the price , that's also what I love about my 620p I paid 515 for it with 24"bar and it's made me a couple grand since I've had it it actually paid for bothe the 7310 and 620 as well as a 550xp
I'm thinking about having the 620p ported and muff modded the 620 is gonna be my "old faithful' and the 562 will be the "new hotness" lol I also like the autotune as well however I do want to have the echo in my line up for the simple reason that I can repair it at home I love your videos and how in depth you go with the saws you show , your video on the 501p and 4910 is one of my favorites it answered questions I didn't know I had about it lol keep up the good work I'm gonna direct as many people to your channel as possible you're one of the few on here that give real in depth no bs u biased facts imo about this stuff and I think you deserve to have more subs than you do you're an excellent source of info cheers from NY
The only thing I hate is the problem of when it is warm doesn’t want to start biggest issues with this saw.
He said how to start it when it's warm. And it's on the saw
No discernible size difference from my 359.
