So the whole point of this is to have a threaded barrel and let you take off the suppressor? Also letting you have a shorter more powerful louder gun or just smaller transport size?
I got my plenum installed today I took a belt sander to factory moderator just enough to get plenum on looks nice my notos was missing fill prob can’t wait to get it and see what this thing does!
Drop block and bottle will get you more shots per fill but not fpe. I don’t think there’s much plenum space in the drop block itself but I could be wrong. You can port all the air passage ways n get some more fpe
I'm having issues with the plenum sliding over the barrel. Not sure why. Probably have to sand it down and repaint it. Both the rear and front parts won't slide on at all.

Para que le sirve un plenun si tienes el regulador de origen que no deja pasar más aire? Si quieres aprovechar ese plenun y el cañón desecha ese regulador y monta otro ajustable por ejemplo el Huma air 👍
Fantastic video. Im curious to see what effect this has. More consistent shots? Tho mine were already super consistent. But the idea of being able to remove the integrated suppressor and swap it for a different one, a removable one makes this already beautiful backpacker and serious force to be reckoned with. Thank you for sharing this!
Be sure to remove the barrel completely before attempting it. I couldn't figure out how to do it and I got 95% of the mod off before I finally realized how to take off the barrel. Grub screw is under the same bolt that holds the pic rail on.
Just installed the kit today. Went from 765 with a 14.35jsb to 783 and I got about 10more shots on reg. Now my next step is to bring down the fps some and make it slower to 16fpe for a little more quiet and more shots. Good product!
I cut the hammer spring down 1/4" and it went from 783fps to 654fps. I then turned in the hammer spring 3turns and got a nice 724fps. Now it's nice and quiet and it'll probably get 6 mags now I bet! I ran put of pellets to test that theory lol.
I left it alone and cranked up the hammer spring for maximum power after chopping the barrel down to 8” and run it as a pistol or short barrel carbine.🤠🇺🇸
Should I clean the barrel of the Notos in stock condition? Is so, what tool/kit do you use for the barrel cleaning, will it damage the moderator since we can't take it off? Thanks again.
There’s two snap rings that sits on the groove of the barrel muzzle end which the moderator is molded on to. You would need to remove the barrel first then remove the plastic moderator by using a hack saw or a heavy duty soldering gun. It’s roughly a 45min job since you would want to do it slowly without digging into the barrel if using a saw
I like my kit, but it likes to loosen when taking off/on moderators. Suggestion to put knurling on the adapter, for something to hold on to, when unscrewing moderators. Keep up the good work!
WARNING ⚠️ You cannot only install the Plenum I tried, because the original Notos moderator will not allow it because there’s no space when try to put back the air gauge cap.
@@c88air I see your listing of the plenum alone, I'm going to buy it. So I just follow the first half of your video to install the plenum, right? How do I take the stock air tank off properly? Thanks.
@@TangDynasty1983 shoot the rifle down to 1kpsi, remove the dust cover on the fill port, use a adjustable wrench and slowly turn the gauge counter clockwise until you start to hear air bleeding. Do this very little at a time and slowly. Once the air completely bleeds out you can remove the gauge and twist off the reservoir from the action
The plenum has a slightly thicker wall then the main reservoir. It should never see 250bar since it’s on the regulated side but if the regulator do fail it still has more material on the wall overall
This product only gives about 10 fps and 5 - 6 shots more! You have to turn up the hammer spring and adjust the regulator 1/4 to 1/2 turn counter clockwise to get more fps + power. Then your 14 grain pellets will go well over 800fps!
You can dramatically increase the FPS by increasing the Transfer Port hole from 3mm to 4.5mm. Don't need a plenum and why screw up the moderator? it works fine.
If they had a Bottle conversion with 30rd Stick or Drum Magazine and electronic/gas firecontrol reloading with semi/burstfire/full auto upgrade for the notos that'd be dope but it would be cheaper to just redesign or buy the select fire semi auto 800 dollar SF45 or the bintac t9 for 900. I dunno. Notos should be designed to be cheaper and use homemade 3d printed upgrades only.
