He can't show anything working because he doesn't get it working.
Very nice rebuild. Only next time try using open bearings instead of the closed ones as your oil sump is used to lubricate the bearing. With closed bearings, this will be less which could result in burning the bearing.
Also try keeping the piston, pistonrod and bearingparts numbered to the cilinder as the piston is worn in on the specific cilinder.

example 2 Customer "Hey this saw doesnt run it was my grandpas can you restore it?" Restorer "Yeah but understand a complete restoration is not cheap. It means complete teardown inspection,replace defective parts if available otherwise manufacture them .Strip old Paint ,Powder coat parts , reassemble and test. There are parts available for this. I estimate $200 - $ 250 But it will be better than new Do you want me to proceed"?
What this person does is clean up replace bad parts and spray paints Understand the difference?
@TheJR1948 He does not ever do more then a quick visual inspection. I would hate to find out what is done with the items that are "restored".

Good job, a nice piece of equipment to learn and practice on.
Some times when trying to make a new gasket, especial for some unique gasket, you can scan the part or old gasket on a printer/scanner and print out the template to use to make a new one. And if you have a LAZER engraver setup, you can even use the LAZER to cut out new gaskets. I do that lots of times and it works perfect. Just an idea depending on what you have available...

Estupendo, pero como es un compresor de un vehículo necesita presión de aceite de motor, cerrar el cárter y conectar a un circuito de refrigeración de agua para funcionar, será un excelente compresor.

@@igorsh5936 У меня такой стоял в гараже, работал без давления просто залил масло через боковое отверстие, для бытовых нужд типа забор покрасить не для постоянной работы хватит его на всю жизнь.

22:30 Instead of using the adjustable wrench to screw the threaded stud try to put 2 nuts on the top of the stud. then you can use a normal wrench to tighten the thing. Still very good video!

Here we refer to it as an air compressor. The output going to a tank for storage or an operational tool. Look for a metal blade putty knife which has a thinner blade, making it easier to get between the layers of the compressor. Did you find the oil sump or did I miss that? Thanks for a great job. перед постановкой подшипников корпус прогреть нужно хотя бы термо феном , а так работа на от ....сь
Феном такой корпус греть - хрен ли толку. Посадочное и на сотку не увеличится. Вот в печку, и градусов до 150-180 целиком - другое дело.
А вот забивать подшипник через шарики - это действительно нехорошо. И вообще работа грубая, если бы у меня такой человек работал (у меня небольшое производство), видя, как он палец в поршень забивает, думаю, он бы долго не продержался.

Sealed ball bearings won't last as the design called for sump lube to flow through the bearing as the crankshaft turned. You can remove the plastic/rubber seals, and have open bearings as originally specified. The will come out using a probe or sharp pick and prying with a blade or screwdriver.
Ring end gap looks way too small.
If you have to hammer the first piston in as it appears you did, I think it too tight in the bore.
Did you install new inserts into the upper rod bearings, but re-use the lowers? That may be a costly mistake. What was the rod bearing journal clearance?

I would suggest less force, repeated applications of penetrating oil left in place for more time.

It would do you well to invest in a bearing press and a torque wrench. As some other person mentioned before, you may be a good restorer, but no mechanic!

здравствуйте вы наверное ошиблись . это компресор маз . головка с лепестковыми клапанами . у зила да и у камаза идет другая головка . она меньше производительностью воздуха .

Хорошо не мне ремонтировался этот компрессор.
п.с. там торчал поршневой палец, который был не дослан в поршень и не хватало стопорящего кольца.
Главное, показать, как оно блестит - это и есть современная реставрация :) А работоспособность уже не важно - видео и так сделано.

This is so cheap "restoration", even the rust wasn't removed nor parts cleaned properly, just paint over it... so many mistakes done along the way..even the pistons were not cleaned, old black dirt left on the grooves.. pheew,,, enough for me. bye.

На этом компрессоре головка нового образца. Клапана лепистковые и головка разборная. Такие головки пошли на компресорах после 2000 года

@@user-bv1xd3yi4j Я на шильду не всматривался. С отечественное техникой опыт имею. И по опыту своему написал . Эти компрессоры за годы существования не изменились конструктивно. Единственное изменилась конструкция головки . И то примерно с начала 2000 годов.

Don't grease the bearing journals, that just encourages the bearings to spin on and destroy the journals.
You forgot to take the inside seal out of the sealed bearings so it can get oil

вроде от 130 ЗИЛа, у камаза бошка другая и у этого шкив стоит.
