Hi, Victoria! This video in particular is one I come back to again and again. It doesn’t matter how good my notes are or what other resources I find, this is the BEST content out there for advancement flaps. You mentioned once that if we wanted you to put together something for a paid course of plastics, to post a comment. I’ve been assigned plastics as a new specialty to learn, so this is that comment. I follow you on LinkedIn as well, so if you do put something together, you can announce either way. Believe me, I’ll find it. But not in a creepy way. In a good, wholesome, I support my fellow coders kind of way.
This has helped so much. Thank you so much!! I have a plastics doctor who is getting denials even with medical records. It is frustrating. But he is NOT recording the sizes in the chart.
I have a question specifically about code 15650, immediate transfer of any pedicle flap. Would this be coded in conjunction with the appropriate code for the location from 15570-15576, formation of direct or tubed pedicle? Or would the formation be included in the code for immediate transfer?
Do you code by location of defect or by location where tissue was transferred from? ie if you have a nasolabial flap to cover a nasal defect do you use 14040 or 14060
Hi Victoria. I was wondering if you could expand a bit on Kode. Are they really a safe option for remote work? I see that they are registered out of India is why I am asking. They are requesting some pretty person information is another concern I have. Appreciate any additional info you can share. Thanks so much. Always enjoy watching your videos.
Hi Rozetta! I wouldn't promote something that's not a safe option and that I haven't vetted. If you have specific questions, you can email them at info@kodehealth.com.
@@ContempoCoding thanks that makes me feel better. I did reach out to them late last week but haven’t heard back yet. I really appreciate your promptness. Thanks so much. Rozetta
i always love and appreciate practice coding examples. lol though some parts when you got beyond the 80cm I was thinking "huh what is she doing now?" i don't do all of that" 😂 then i realized you were just kind of explaining another way to think about how the add-on code works.
This question is completely off topic, but webcam do you use? I need to find an external webcam that works with Zoom for my CPC exam, and I have no idea which one to buy.
Hey there I'm an aspiring medical coder. I have everything ready I just need to sign the papers to start my courses. Is there any financial help to pay for it? The aapc isn't an accredited school for fasfa.
There is no financial aid as, like you said, AAPC is not an accredited school and does not qualify for FAFSA. You would need to go through a college for that, and probably pay a lot more. The AAPC does have financing options available that they can assist you with.
I was doing this chapter last night 😂 and the stsg was kicking my ass... I got the first CPT and icd10 codes but the second code i cannot for the life of me figure out 😫🤣
Can you do a video on modifiers on how you know if a modifier is required please?
Victoria never disappoints

When you code skin rotation flaps do you also code the removal of the lesion, tumor, etc also.
Do you code by location of defect or by location where tissue was transferred from? ie if you have a nasolabial flap to cover a nasal defect do you use 14040 or 14060
Does any of these also relate to fasciocutaneous flap? They had a stage 4 sacral ulcer but I'm not seeing size or location

What does secondary defect mean?
My providers will often code the ATT with operative procedures -like a tendon repair with a flap covering this. Is that correct?

Does Att ever include muscle?
No, the muscle codes are different. The ATTR code are skin and subcutaneous tissue only.

Some employers pay for tuition depending on the company you for for.
Awesome thank you. I started my terminology course and just passed my first module. I'm on my way now.
@@natecurtis3159 Good. Congratulations. I’m on the Integ section. It’s kind of hard but I’m getting it. 🌞
