Thank you for doing this. I am in a coding class online . To see where I'll be next year really helps me to keep pushing through. Trusting the process is key!
Ty I enjoyed this very much. looks so fun, and challenging I love it. I'm learning about the lymphatic region right now at preppy. 😁 may God bless you, and Ty again
I just want to thank u for these videos u helped me achieve the Billing certification as I am currently in the process of sitting with AAPC for my coders credential I want it bad because of u Thank You 😊.
@@ContempoCoding I would love to enroll in your course but I have been on this trip now for about 2 years and with different people and coaches. My test 28 Nov. 2022. Online can't put it off any longer 😌
I am using a study guide and I finished the book. I have a problem with where to stop. I will code medications and i'm not sure when to add and when to not. You are the reason I went into coding. I got my certification from my local community college. I'm also a RN.
Awesome!!! Thank you. This video has helped me to prove my coding point. However, we forgot the modifiers for which knee was operated on RT or LT and just to clarify is a 59 modifier needed?
Thank you for reaching out to me with your question about the video. While I would love to help you, I'm afraid that I don't have the capacity to re-watch my videos that were posted an extended period of time ago to provide a detailed answer. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
So, a question, couldn't it just be the code for the knee since the joints all involve portions of the knee joint capsule, instead of the multiple sites code?
Thanks for sharing your concerns. It's understandable to worry about AI in the medical coding field. However, it's important to remember that AI is designed to assist and enhance the work of medical coders, not replace them. The technology helps automate certain aspects of the coding process, reducing the burden of repetitive tasks and allowing coders to focus on more complex cases that require human expertise and judgement. Moreover, the introduction of AI in the field opens up new opportunities for coders to upskill and work in areas like AI supervision, quality control, and more. So, rather than viewing AI as a threat, we can see it as a tool that can make our work more efficient and rewarding. Hope this helps alleviate some of your concerns! 😊
@@ContempoCoding Thank you! This is helpful. Although I agree but I am also intrigued - is there any example in any of your videos or your experience that you have come across where AI has coded incorrectly but due to human expertise and judgement, the human coder coded it correctly? Thanks so much!
Excellent content. I already have a degree but am in Australia. Do you know where I can get sample records to code? I haven't in ages but got a job interview coming up next week that I'm preparing for. Thanks
Im currently in a Medical Coding and Billing. The sugical and emergency department case coding is quite lengthy. In a hospital setting, does the in patient coders have a certain amount of time aloud for each case? Im still learning case coding and can be slow figuring the codes out. Do you eventually get much quicker at these long cases.?
Hai victorya can you make video regarding Home health coding and what type of certifications have to do for home health coding. Ect... ( Request because i never saw video regarding Home health coding)
I think I had this case in my first 200 cases for practicode. I just want to know is how can anyone do these in 3 minutes. From what I understand that is the productivity rate. You have to do over 100 of these in a work day. How is that possible?

Hi there, quick question. Wouldn't the meniscal tear diagnosis code be S83.232A? In the procedure description, they specify it as "complex".
Thank you so much for video

Hello, do you have information on any Encder products for home use?
The case study attached is thyroidectomy. Is that for another episode?

Hi! What NCCI lookup tools would you recommend, other than the "Find-A-Code"? I am looking for a free and straightforward option. Thank you!
I have a Q regarding the marcaine inj - would you code for a nerve block?
Can you please do one on CMS-1500 and how to fill out the forms... please please please
Question: when do you code for anesthesia or is that part of the bundle? Thx
You code for anesthesia when you're billing for the provider that performed it.
