Hello. I put some context in the description, if anyone cares. I often like to give my input on how i'd do things differently in these videos, but didn't want to drag this one out. Though it could be fun to do that in a separate, even-less-effort-needed video. So let me know if there's any interest. But mostly i'm ready to move on from this one. Thanks for watching and see you in the next one!

This game wasn't bad, it was alright, 6-7/10.

this review is such a lovely change of pace from other coverage ive seen, just a nuanced look at a mediocre game!

I like hearing your views on this. For me I think "mediocre" best describes the game, particularly with it being one of the earlier higher price point games. It does not deserve the hate it gets, but it also is shallow and poorly put together.
To me the biggest issue is the pace of power unlocks. That and the lack of really enticing open world rewards really killed some of the passion I had. I did manage to use the water powers quite a bit before the end because I get suckered into mastering skills. So I did a ton of the relevant challenges for it. It was a good addition to the arsenal but also felt less exciting than the fire power.
I think my gripe is mostly that I wanted more to do in the game but it just wasn't interesting enough to do.

To be honest Ella Balinska (Frey) is a terrible actress, i honestly don't get how she continues getting work.
