Kitty Buys I wish I was 5'5 so I wouldn't be as hunched over on the bike lol. My gf has the Miami and that one fits me much better but I just love the compactness and unique style of the Tokyo. I upgraded the seat to a Bell 800 memory foam seat and removed the website stickers as well as the fenders for a clean look. Will be upgrading to a 11-28t freewheel cassette and 100psi tires for better ride quality and higher top speed.
Ive been thinking about getting the tokyo for a means of short travel and to burn a few calories in my off duty time while im over the road trucking, do you think the tokyo with the small 16 inch wheels would be goodl for 4-5 mile rides?
I love it, first, it as to bee small and 16 inch is the smalest, I use it on a boat , but I change the 48 paddel Wheel for a 52 teth, so its back a little more like a real road cycle.
Ken Johnson I plan to get this, but i am not sure, cause i will attend to College, and plus weight loss. any recommender or whatever, i would be appreciate.
If you're going to go with a citizen folding bike I have the Tokyo which has a 16 inch wheel I would rather recommend the Miami which it has a 20 inch wheels so if you are going to be riding around campus I think a 20 inch wheels is better than at 16
I'm 6 feet 195 lbs and bought a Tokyo and LOVE it.
Thank you for posting the comment, I was hesitant but after reading how tall you were I can definitely ride this bike at 5'5'' thank you
