    Very nice video, nice choice of music, nice presentation, nice GoPro filming and nice bike; the reason I clicked on your video. Thanks for sharing!

    I used to own a Citizen Miami for a bit. These bikes are strictly for short hops around a city. I tried going quite a few miles with mine but regretted it instantly. The 20 inch tires mean you will have to pedal all the time to keep momentum no sitting back and cruising like with a 26 inch tire. Also expect to maintenance the clamp that holds the frame together. It will become loose right away which scary as hell if you are riding in traffic. The Seoul seems to be updated so maybe they solved that issue. Go with the airless tires, the tires and tubes that come with them are flimsy and will constantly get flat especially in city streets that have debris everywhere. Other than that they can be enjoyable.

    Pros: convenient, foldable, and somewhat fun
    Cons: heavy, can break easily (my front break caught a snag and broke), and wheels small to which a slight turn can be dangerous

    So glad to see the citizen bikes fit in a Renegade. I was wondering how it would fit in the back of mine. Just bought a CitiZen bike yesterday! Can’t wait for its arrival!

    Great review. I bought 3 recently. They look nice and airless tires work well, little rough or lose on gravel but the convenience of skipping the air pump is worth it. The quality of the bike and care of assembly is questionable. When folded the tires do not align to evenly touch the ground. The magnets and magnet plate to secure the bike when folded don't align. It's a manufacturing defect in the frame. The bikes rest on one tire and one corner of the bottom stand. This makes it easy for the bike to often tip over when folded. This could seriously hurt a baby or small dog. It will dent your wood floors because of uneven weight. Another issue, two of the bikes fold with little effort the 3rd is almost impossible to fold without two people and there is no apparent adjustment option. I wrote Citizen a week ago, sent photos, video, diagrams... they are silent on these subjects. This makes me wonder about the quality of all their bikes and customer care. Anyone else have this problem or experience?

      I appreciate your frustration. I own a Milan and mostly love it. Unfortunately I haven't even used the 'folding bike' aspect because it's been impossible to fold. I've asked Citizen folks for help, had other larger/stronger people try to fold it for me (including an engineer) with no luck. Customer service at Citizen has been severely lacking from day one -which is disappointing considering my economic investment.
      I do love the Muffin tires and don't mind a bit less cushioned ride. For me that's a nice trade off to know I'll never have a flat.

    !st thing I noticed is that after you put that together, the cables were not running correctly - front brake cable should NOT be under the cross bar!! - that's dangerous - make sure you check it before you ride next time.

    Nice vid! I'm considering this bike. Did you get the airless tires? If so, thoughts?

      Those don't look like the airless tires -- only come in black or brown for this model

      @@miabaz3303 How do you like your bike? I am considering purchasing this model and my only caveat is using it for long rides in the city. Any information would be appreciated.

      @@juliaramirez8811 handles potholes surprisingly well! My longest trips have been about 20min each way and it feels great! Excellent shifting, brakes work fine (not over- or under-responsive) -- wasn't sure about the smaller tires but they are just fine and always "feel full," which is what I was going for with the airless tires. 10/10 would buy again (and may get one for my partner eventually)

    Not to be rude but how much did you weigh in this video cause I'm 250 and i want the Miami but the weight limit is 220

    • @shawnfoxhorn
      @shawnfoxhorn  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I weighed around 270... I will say that as a big guy, the seat really hurts your butt. If you are just riding for 15 minutes you should be fine, but if you are planning for long distances... I would pick a different bike.
