I love this weapon. I use it on my Xiangling and its just nutty. Can def be a good choice for hu tao. Would be proll OP if she could get all 3 stacks but at least blood blossom is helping make it way way more viable!
Hi, great video! Just wanted to know what would be the best crit ratio for my hu tao? I currently have 74/201 with staff of Homa, but feel as if it is too low, considering that staff of Homa alone gives me 66 crit dmg. I must admit that my goblet, circlute and sands could definitely use some work, but considering that the crimson is really hard to farm, I don't have the energy to do it. Is my crit stats okay just the way it is, or am I too lazy to try and get better substats?
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed! Yeah crimson can be a nightmare. Well first off make sure you have 100 EM min. 74/201 is def not bad but of course it can be improved. My suggestion would be to only strongbox crimson. You will def continue to improve your build but even right now its very solid.
I've been finding Dehya the best partner for Hu Tao on a double hydro double pyro team. Just thought i'd mention it. Of course i don't have c6 Thoma, so there is that to consider, But I found Dehya and Xingqui stack so well i don't need to bother with a shielder. And Dehya's off field Damage soaking seems to expand Hu Tao's life far better then the shielders i've tried her with.

Hey thank you so much for the kind words. Glad it helped. Ayato certainly is an option but you would want to focus on his burst for your hydro application.
Triple crowned her, she's my first fully built Pyro DPS after a year of grinding for a decent Crimson Witch set. I have Dragons Bane R5, Primodial Jade Spear R1, and Deathmatch R1 and I prefer Dragons Bane more but sometimes swap Jade Spear for Vape reactions. I have a nice EM sand for her with great CR and CD subs stats on it. Is it practical to use Dragons Bane + EM sands for elemental reactions? Her EM should be around 400+, CR: 60+ CD: 180+, her HP is around 29k since I use Hydro resonance (Yelan and Xingqiu)
Love it! The crimson grind is no joke! I would say it certainly is but it does depend on substats. Preferably you would want to see some higher HP subs for that set up which may be just a matter of time of getting the right pieces. High Em is excellent as vape damage is where we want to be! Nice build!

well i wasnt really looking to build my hu tao after i pulled her on 61 pity but right after i did 20 more pulls i got c1 hu tao then i started to build her
I play on mobile and it is very hard to do animation cancel on it. I tried Hu Tao's trial several times but she ain't just my type, +you need c1 and homa. I am gonna save for Raiden's upcoming rerun in future patches and probably going to c6 her.
Thats fair! I will say it def is more difficult on mobile but a lot of people have gotten it down. Just takes more practice! Good luck on your Raiden pulls!!
People who say C1 is must for hu tao are wrong u just need to build her decent em cr cd ratio and use 2 hydro if possible yelan xinqiu if dont have yelan u can use nillou if pulled her and she just sits there u will never miss any vapes with n1c or n2c if both hydro applicants are available also zhongli is not needed and its just there for convinient reasons and if you have zhongli then u prolly dont need c1 hu tao cuz u wont need to doge anything (c1 hu tao only adds 1.5 more charge attacks which adds up to 120k aproximatly) and dont pull for hu tao if you are playing the game fun pull for her if you want big numbers and to hear megumins voice actress every time you play her.

Hey welcome to the channel haha. So it depends. How much EM are you at with hu tao with white tassel? 24% rate is def too low for any consistency but getting to that 100 EM mark is very important. Eventually you def want to switch to dragons bane here but that may take a little bit of time to get the right artifacts.

Story: literally just lost the 50/50 on Hu Tao banner to dehya (79 pity) and got my fresh new Guaranteed for Raiden rerun (Wanted the lost btw). MFW... Pull 10 more because addictions i guess. got her on wish number 8 (0 - 8). Now... i'm happy with the win... Yes i am, new characters are always welcome and much more if they are as early as that. i'm mad? yes because now i have to literally hope for Raiden on her rerun (Want the C2). Did i learn something from this? No, im going to still build pity and send yolo wishes because i'm mentally ill.
Got Hutao within 35 wishes💀 even though I was just pulling for Xinquio it's all fine😂😂 Not to mention I got both the Catalyst and Homa along with the skyward Harp within 50 wishes just before pulling on character banner😂😂
Hey so PJWS is a perfectly fine option. DB is truly better but rolling for 4 stars is dangerous. if you get it in a few pulls cool its worth it but I wouldnt invest heavy, we need opitimized path for 4 stars!

Yup I would def level it up and R5. Whats nice about 3 star weaps is they are cheap to level and this weapons passive directly helps her damage. A worthy level up.
im an f2p got her last rerun with the yelanbanner went for homa got early 5 star and a skyward pride now im trying to get a second 5 star because i also have neuvilette and could use both weapons help
I pulled hutao a few days ago and used her in melt team(i don't have xingqiu and yelan cuz my luck is benny level) so paired her with benny kaeya and layla. Overall quite good dmg tbh but i really want to improvise it. Any suggestion? No 5 stars other than her please i'm a f2p player
My Hu Tao soemtimes does big dmg but other times does lower: its a bit inconsistent. I try keep the teams the same. Is it to do with elemental mastery/crit dmg as they are quite low on her build for mine?
I hear you. With lower crit the variance in DPS with certainly be there. Keep in mind of your rotations too because if you are reverse vaping by applying pyro and then vaping with hydro the dps will be less too. As you keep building and get better with her you will see constant consistency for sure!
Yup there always is. Vape damage in between charged attacks. Fitting in 1 or 2 normals is incredibly fast and leads to more overall DPS. A good question though for sure!
I might get hate for this but 😅 right now my team is c0 Hu Tao with Dragons bane , c1 Xingqiu with favonius sword, c6 Diona with stringless bow, c6 anemo traveler with harbinger of dawn. Sometimes I switch traveler for Yae Miko or Noel All of them are level 60 and it’s been good I struggle 😅 but it’s been good I’m currently working to build a double hydro team with Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Furina and Wriothesly.I have a lot to learn 😅my artifacts are crimson witch of flames , severed fate, blizzard strayer and heart of depth. Is this any good?😅 for my level (45) I’m roughly doing around 6k damage on a good day😂.

Ohh congrats that's sick!! So here's what I would say. Nuevillette is sick. Like a great pull and very fun to play. He will however have a re run again long before hu tao. Most likely before we move on from Fontaine. If you love hu tao you def wont be disappointed with her c1. Its a more enjoyable way to play her for sure!
Im currently using hu tao, xingqiu, diona and bennet. I wanna swap bennet for someone because I dont like the character, and I have ganyu. Do you think ganyu or xiangling would be better as a 4th?
Umm I think if you used ganyu as a quick swap burst build it could def work for a melt team considering you are running diona. Diona will def be enough to sustain your team here and hu tao can heal herself. If you are gonna on field ganyu the team is a bit messy.
Is Deathmatch a viable option on Hu Tao? I didn’t see it in the weapons section of the video and it’s what I personally run on her so I’m curious about whether I should continue using it or switch it out for something else.
Funny enough I actually scripted and recorded a death match section. Yup it is def a great option for her! The crit stat stick and passive does help her for sure!

Congrats on the 50/50 win! Lets goo. So its def usable but I still recommend white tassel over it. The best thing about that weap is the HP stat but the substat doesn't offer much value since hu tao has almost no ER need.
I have 201 EM on hu tao so I dont know if I should go for EM sans or HP. I also want to change my weapon (dragons bane r4) to a crit stick like the new BP weapon, her crit ratio is 53/198 (F2P so far) and I do want to aim for more crit however, I'm not sure if the they'll be a damage loss as I'd be losing all my EM which means I'll have to give her an EM sans instead of HP. Can anyone give tips please?
Heyy great question! So with the new weap you are going to get EM from the passive and if you plan on r5ing it (which I know will take time) that would 100% be enough EM and an HP sands would be prefered. For now I think which ever option offers better over all sub stats should be your aim.
@@sh3raeyou cant just ignore a stat. At the end of the day they are all multiplicative in the dmg formula. Prioritise one over the other and your dmg will tank. If you go hp sand look for EM on substats and hp substats if you go EM sand. Though r5 fjord and team EM buffs can easily fulfil your EM needs allowing to focus all on Crit and hp
Surprisingly this is very doable on mobile. If you have zhongli he's an easy way to practice you also can face a wall and practice the inputs. Tap Attack, Hold Attack, Jump(or dash at c1) Some mobile players are beasts with Hu Tao so just practice up a bit and you will get it. Can also try connecting a controller for a bit more comofortable gameplay.
So my preference here is homa, not because c1 isn't amazing but because homa is one of the best weapons in the game and can be used on many characters.
I recently pulled Hu Tao and I put her with Xingqiu Dehya and Sucrose I may switch to the Lyiue team tho just wondering is the team I'm currently using us optimal?
Hey! So it can def work with dehya giving some more defensive capability the big thing is she will still vapes so xiangling here in the end would be more optimal but this can certainly work!
Unfortunately nuevillette will not work properly in her team comps. Hu tao needs an off field hydro applicator, but dont worry you can still run just xingqui or add mona as an additional option for double hydro.
So it’s a good question. I don’t feel that keqing would offer the same value as fischl but she is usable with a quick swap burst focus team. Where you prioritize ER. Would change the way you play hu Tao. I don’t think this would be as optimal but if that’s the comp you want to play then do it up! Hope that helps.

So i dont have too many characters which means im running just 2 teams for abyss. 1st Team: Raiden, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Bennett (Raiden National) and for my second team i would like to run hu tao, yelan, diona for shield and maybe ayaka but she can be switched out. So the raiden international is kinda fix and i would only swap out xingqiu with yelan so i have better hydro application but is just xingqiu and hu tao a good comp and if yes then is ayaka ok in that team or would another option maybe be better? and maybe is there another option then diona bcs i dont have zhongli or any strong shielder. keep in mind i dont have many 5 stars and already thanks to anyone tryna help me out here
Hey no worries! Great first team for sure. With what you have said here I would focus on a hu tao melt build. Hu tao, diona, ayaka and an anemo user like kazuha, venti, sucrose or Lynette. They could operate extremely well as a second team for you. There certainly is a lot of potential here!!
Can I go: Hu Tao C1 + Blackcliff Pole Bennett C1 + Prot Ranc Yelan C0 + Fav Diona What sands will be the best for this team comp for hu tao? Also I was thinking of replacing diona with keqing for overload, but idk
I'd recommend changing to dragonsbane if possiblem, and going hp sands, because with blackcliff, you'll still want an hp sands, you cant afford to go em sands just yet as your hp would be too low. As for keqing, she tends to more be on an on field playstyle which will hurt hu taos overall dps.
I got C1 Hu Tao and 2nd Homa in last pull... and got three more Homa trying to get Hydro Dragon's Catalyst... alongside 3 Fischl Bows... and C1-4 Fischl and C0-C2 Dionna, 3 Xingqiu and C0 Neuvillette.. Now I just Qiqi when I pull on Standard Banner... or Mona or Jean, anything but C72 Tighnari... or another Xingqiu... give me the normal Pity Poisons Mihoyo... I just want 1 of every normal character...

I have Dragons Bane R5, Primodial Jade Spear R1, and Deathmatch R1 and I prefer Dragons Bane more but sometimes swap Jade Spear for Vape reactions. I have a nice EM sand for her with great CR and CD subs stats on it. Is it practical to use Dragons Bane + EM sands for elemental reactions? Her EM should be around 400+, CR: 60+ CD: 180+, her HP is around 29k since I use Hydro resonance (Yelan and Xingqiu)
Love it! The crimson grind is no joke! I would say it certainly is but it does depend on substats. Preferably you would want to see some higher HP subs for that set up which may be just a matter of time of getting the right pieces. High Em is excellent as vape damage is where we want to be! Nice build!

I play on mobile and it is very hard to do animation cancel on it. I tried Hu Tao's trial several times but she ain't just my type, +you need c1 and homa.
I am gonna save for Raiden's upcoming rerun in future patches and probably going to c6 her.

People who say C1 is must for hu tao are wrong u just need to build her decent em cr cd ratio and use 2 hydro if possible yelan xinqiu if dont have yelan u can use nillou if pulled her and she just sits there u will never miss any vapes with n1c or n2c if both hydro applicants are available also zhongli is not needed and its just there for convinient reasons and if you have zhongli then u prolly dont need c1 hu tao cuz u wont need to doge anything (c1 hu tao only adds 1.5 more charge attacks which adds up to 120k aproximatly) and dont pull for hu tao if you are playing the game fun pull for her if you want big numbers and to hear megumins voice actress every time you play her.

Hey welcome to the channel haha. So it depends. How much EM are you at with hu tao with white tassel? 24% rate is def too low for any consistency but getting to that 100 EM mark is very important. Eventually you def want to switch to dragons bane here but that may take a little bit of time to get the right artifacts.

Hey so PJWS is a perfectly fine option. DB is truly better but rolling for 4 stars is dangerous. if you get it in a few pulls cool its worth it but I wouldnt invest heavy, we need opitimized path for 4 stars!

Well it depends how much EM you have right now. HP is extremely important and I would say you should try to stay above 30k.

Yup I would def level it up and R5. Whats nice about 3 star weaps is they are cheap to level and this weapons passive directly helps her damage. A worthy level up.

Yup absolutly. The hydro application will be a bit less but the hydro res, monas buffs and thrilling tales can be a great option!
I pulled hutao a few days ago and used her in melt team(i don't have xingqiu and yelan cuz my luck is benny level) so paired her with benny kaeya and layla. Overall quite good dmg tbh but i really want to improvise it. Any suggestion? No 5 stars other than her please i'm a f2p player

Yup been messing around with a few diff options on my hu tao comps. Furina is such a powerhouse.
My Hu Tao soemtimes does big dmg but other times does lower: its a bit inconsistent. I try keep the teams the same. Is it to do with elemental mastery/crit dmg as they are quite low on her build for mine?
I hear you. With lower crit the variance in DPS with certainly be there. Keep in mind of your rotations too because if you are reverse vaping by applying pyro and then vaping with hydro the dps will be less too. As you keep building and get better with her you will see constant consistency for sure!

Yup there always is. Vape damage in between charged attacks. Fitting in 1 or 2 normals is incredibly fast and leads to more overall DPS. A good question though for sure!
I might get hate for this but 😅 right now my team is c0 Hu Tao with Dragons bane , c1 Xingqiu with favonius sword, c6 Diona with stringless bow, c6 anemo traveler with harbinger of dawn. Sometimes I switch traveler for Yae Miko or Noel All of them are level 60 and it’s been good I struggle 😅 but it’s been good I’m currently working to build a double hydro team with Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Furina and Wriothesly.I have a lot to learn 😅my artifacts are crimson witch of flames , severed fate, blizzard strayer and heart of depth. Is this any good?😅 for my level (45) I’m roughly doing around 6k damage on a good day😂.

Ohh congrats that's sick!! So here's what I would say. Nuevillette is sick. Like a great pull and very fun to play. He will however have a re run again long before hu tao. Most likely before we move on from Fontaine. If you love hu tao you def wont be disappointed with her c1. Its a more enjoyable way to play her for sure!

Hey yes def! Even if it was r1 DB I would say it would be the right call. EM is just so important for her and that weap is incredible for her kit.
Im currently using hu tao, xingqiu, diona and bennet. I wanna swap bennet for someone because I dont like the character, and I have ganyu. Do you think ganyu or xiangling would be better as a 4th?
Umm I think if you used ganyu as a quick swap burst build it could def work for a melt team considering you are running diona. Diona will def be enough to sustain your team here and hu tao can heal herself. If you are gonna on field ganyu the team is a bit messy.
Is Deathmatch a viable option on Hu Tao? I didn’t see it in the weapons section of the video and it’s what I personally run on her so I’m curious about whether I should continue using it or switch it out for something else.
Funny enough I actually scripted and recorded a death match section. Yup it is def a great option for her! The crit stat stick and passive does help her for sure!

Congrats on the 50/50 win! Lets goo. So its def usable but I still recommend white tassel over it. The best thing about that weap is the HP stat but the substat doesn't offer much value since hu tao has almost no ER need.

I have 201 EM on hu tao so I dont know if I should go for EM sans or HP. I also want to change my weapon (dragons bane r4) to a crit stick like the new BP weapon, her crit ratio is 53/198 (F2P so far) and I do want to aim for more crit however, I'm not sure if the they'll be a damage loss as I'd be losing all my EM which means I'll have to give her an EM sans instead of HP. Can anyone give tips please?
Heyy great question! So with the new weap you are going to get EM from the passive and if you plan on r5ing it (which I know will take time) that would 100% be enough EM and an HP sands would be prefered. For now I think which ever option offers better over all sub stats should be your aim.

@@sh3raeyou cant just ignore a stat. At the end of the day they are all multiplicative in the dmg formula. Prioritise one over the other and your dmg will tank. If you go hp sand look for EM on substats and hp substats if you go EM sand. Though r5 fjord and team EM buffs can easily fulfil your EM needs allowing to focus all on Crit and hp

Surprisingly this is very doable on mobile. If you have zhongli he's an easy way to practice you also can face a wall and practice the inputs. Tap Attack, Hold Attack, Jump(or dash at c1) Some mobile players are beasts with Hu Tao so just practice up a bit and you will get it. Can also try connecting a controller for a bit more comofortable gameplay.

Hey! So it can def work with dehya giving some more defensive capability the big thing is she will still vapes so xiangling here in the end would be more optimal but this can certainly work!

Unfortunately nuevillette will not work properly in her team comps. Hu tao needs an off field hydro applicator, but dont worry you can still run just xingqui or add mona as an additional option for double hydro.

So it’s a good question. I don’t feel that keqing would offer the same value as fischl but she is usable with a quick swap burst focus team. Where you prioritize ER. Would change the way you play hu Tao. I don’t think this would be as optimal but if that’s the comp you want to play then do it up! Hope that helps.

Mona can be a good option. If you dont have her dont worry though, xingqui can work in a solo hydro.

You def can. You will still get hydro res to boost HP and Monas buff will help. Yelan is the primary choice but this is def an option!

Hey guys, id appreciate if anyone can help me out here. So i dont have too many characters which means im running just 2 teams for abyss. 1st Team: Raiden, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Bennett (Raiden National) and for my second team i would like to run hu tao, yelan, diona for shield and maybe ayaka but she can be switched out. So the raiden international is kinda fix and i would only swap out xingqiu with yelan so i have better hydro application but is just xingqiu and hu tao a good comp and if yes then is ayaka ok in that team or would another option maybe be better? and maybe is there another option then diona bcs i dont have zhongli or any strong shielder. keep in mind i dont have many 5 stars and already thanks to anyone tryna help me out here
Hey no worries! Great first team for sure. With what you have said here I would focus on a hu tao melt build. Hu tao, diona, ayaka and an anemo user like kazuha, venti, sucrose or Lynette. They could operate extremely well as a second team for you. There certainly is a lot of potential here!!

I'd recommend changing to dragonsbane if possiblem, and going hp sands, because with blackcliff, you'll still want an hp sands, you cant afford to go em sands just yet as your hp would be too low. As for keqing, she tends to more be on an on field playstyle which will hurt hu taos overall dps.

I got C1 Hu Tao and 2nd Homa in last pull... and got three more Homa trying to get Hydro Dragon's Catalyst... alongside 3 Fischl Bows... and C1-4 Fischl and C0-C2 Dionna, 3 Xingqiu and C0 Neuvillette.. Now I just Qiqi when I pull on Standard Banner... or Mona or Jean, anything but C72 Tighnari... or another Xingqiu... give me the normal Pity Poisons Mihoyo... I just want 1 of every normal character...
