Decent review. I think people miss the ethos of Suzuki in terms of value, reliablity etc. Yes you can buy soemthing more refined but to get the spec and features you can add about 4-5k more on the price. I have had many cars over 35yrs and ive never had any issues with my suzukis but have with more so called premium manufacturers. Keep up the reviews!!
The MG HS, Omoda E5 and Citroen C5 Aircross all offer more for less, including size. The big difference is none of them are available with any form of AWD, let alone a system as competent as the S-Cross's.
They are and they aren't. The S-Cross kind of sits on the line between the two categories, falling wholly into neither. It's definitely bigger than the Vitara, which is in the category below. Someone could be cross shopping an S-Cross against a Kia Stonic, and someone else may cross shop it against the Kia Sportage.
I bought the 2024 Suzuki S Cross. Excellent in every point. I can complain only about one thing: why the manufacturers didn't place a light in the trunk. I have to use my cell phone all the time when I look for stuff at night. Not very practical when you have put or take things out. other than that, no issues whatsoever.
Refinement and shine is worth the money ... a lot of money ... the soundproofing of current cars from better brands in higher price ranges than the S-Cross is poor. The EU is pushing car makers into expensive engine and assist measures et cetera and then skimping on interior and soundproofing. The engines in this category are universally three-cylinders - which I wouldn't wish on an enemy. Cars are made pretty to the eye.. hey on top, yuck on the inside. Best to get the car soundproofed for 13% of the purchase price which is a lot. Suzuki is conservative and doesn't change things that work... Suzuki's reliability is legendary... used ones hold their value. To choose a car of a certain category responsibly is a big problem today, many unpleasant things remain hidden
@@BuckleUpShow It's a general phenomenon .... see 2DIN post on TH-cam. Even BMW and Mercedes don't have audio (or add-ons) to match the price level. Only placebo maybe
Blimey Jasper, if you’re going to wear snug t-shirts then we’ll have to get onto the Torso Assessment Scale, which is a whole new ball game. Although I predict you’d do well.
you don’t know what you say or write: i have had 25-30 cars in the last 25 years, but in terms of durability, this is the best, (i am selling my glb right now)🎉
@@BuckleUpShow Definitely. If you don't need AWD, you have lots of options in this segment. Especially Ford Puma is one of the best choice in terms of handling and boot space.

I have the 4x4 car for €26,000 and have been driving it for 9 months. I am satisfied and like the vehicle.
Glad to hear you like it
Kia sportage hyundai tucson and quasquai is akategory up. So s cross is brilliant for its category with 10.000€ less.

No light in the rear storage area is a bit of an oversight on Suzuki's part! EDIT: This is incorrect - the light can be seen at 03:16!
@@BuckleUpShowwhat you can literaly see the light on in you video
So you can. Note to self - double check whether what the original commenter has said is true or not...
@@BuckleUpShow :) great review though and well presented I have the car
Thank you! ☺️

Which cars are you saying have worse sound proofing that this?

Obsessed with how much the new VW Tiguan looks like this especially from rear and rear 3/4
The new Tiguan is a better car, too: th-cam.com/video/peIP3jDj3FE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1nNsGbZS0HM6fAEs
I dread to think just how much stuff you would unintentionally purchase if you ever went to an auction......
Why do you say that?
@BuckleUpShow You're constantly moving your hands.
It’s called presenting
Watching your head brush the roof was a hard watch Jasper.
Not my fault I'm too tall for the low internal roofline

Jasper almost always appears in Buckle Up T-Shirts, unless it's dead chilly outside
This might be the worst current car. You’d have to really hate the Duster and C3 Aircross to buy this.
C3 is worse than this and there is no 4x4 Duster with automatic gearbox.

Suzuki's products are very durable, yes
Depends on whether you want the utility offered by the AWD powertrain and the dependability that Suzuki offers
