I feel like Crowbar Collective is Valve Software and Tripmine Studios is Gearbox Software. Think about it, Valve made Half Life, Crowbar Collective made Black Mesa (Half Life Remastered). Gearbox Software did two expansion packs or DLCs in my case (Opposing Force and Blue Shift) for Half Life, Tripmine Studios are working on Operation Black Mesa (Opposing Force Remastered) and Guard Duty (Blue Shift Remastered). So pretty much Crowbar Collective is our new Valve and Tripmine Studios is our new Gearbox.
Tripmine Studios, at the very least isn't involved in every videogame drama to ever happen.

There's also Decay which was the third expansion Gearbox made that got cancelled and can only be played on the PS2 version and has a remake called Peer Review

the current situation is looking pretty grim...

Recently they added new effects like water dropping from your screen and lens effect also they are trying to use MAX of the source engine and even they are recently still improving AI and you can expect both MP5 and M4a1 present in Operation black mesa also there are going to be more interactions with HECU and still they are undecided what to do with tripmines because human eye is unable to see lasers and you could see them just to make it easier for the player
I thought it was being made on Unreal
Joker potentially have the mp5 be used by black ops while the M4 is used by HECU
This just made me realize that Gordons H.E.V suit probably makes him able to see the lasers.
I know this comment is 5 years old, but lasers can be visible if they're strong enough, or if theres stuff like dust inside the room. So, it's possible that the strength and frequency of a tripmine's laser is pretty strong.

well, it most likely would be decent. The mod version of BM was decent, but sucked when it came to combat.
pepper Mill Yeah, well, some weapons were ok, like .357 and gauss, but the AI is just shit compared to Half-Life :|
blueshit199 357 was too overpowered, but okay, and Gauss was good.
pepper Mill The worst weapons imo were mp5 for it's low accuracy (in Steam version it is so accurate that it became op) and gluon gun, because you can't kill a thing with it without wasting half of the ammo.
And enemies, well, they just charge at you, that's it. But I apreciate the ammount of work put into level design and creatures.

This song can go well when fighting in the area full of Zombies and Gonomes, which would be the furnace area. I am really looking forward to this mod, and I do also hope, like in the same manner with the Nihilanth of Black Mesa, the Gene Worm could steal the show. 😁

No. I really loved Blue Shift, mainly becouse the maps, which are the best quality maps from all HL1 expansions. The only problem is that it's too short and there are not even all weapons from the original Half-Life.
@@honzabalak3462 Blue shift didn't add much to the table... It would have been cool to see new weapons and a larger campaign just like opposin force.
However I do think blue shift got it right in other parts like Dr. Rosenberg (a pretty cool character imo) and the puzzles.
I hope one day we see Blue Shift in Source engine with new aditions!

@@spongedog0013 Half life 3 isn't gonna come out, this game is definitely gonna come out because than all this effort is gonna go to waste on creating such an ambitious project
They've released weapon and reload animation previews, complete with audio. So yes, they are. It just takes time, just like with how long it took for Black Mesa to implement Xen.

There was another remake. It was cancelled and disappeared, but I still have the ost from that remake on my PC. Their version of MIA was much better.
