Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?

Bronson came on strongly in this, better than any Eastwood movie I’ve ever seen and I don’t mind saying it. He was extremely underrated
Two to many. One of the best lines ever.
One of the best lines spoken by a total badass!!
The BEST western movie ever 👍👍👍👍👍👍
There is a CLEAR top 10 westerns and in no order all great .... this is 1000% one of them
Hands down, also I love how the guns sound so greased so clean so finite van cleef guns make the exact same noise. Mmmmm delicious
they dont make films like this anymore, or actors either. i'm just thankful i was alive to see it all through the '70's. the finest best decade in human history. art and music and films. cheers and semper fi.
Back those days they had a story, took time to work it out and then they made the movie. They didn't really think about profit. Now the first thing they write on paper is the desired profit. Nunc Aut Nunquam marine.
Not wrong pal. UK 🇬🇧
Charles Bronson was about 46-47 when he played Harmonica. This is a nice touch for a couple of reasons - the boy in the flashbacks looks about 16-17, so it figures into his life-long quest for revenge. Secondly, Bronson had an amazing physique for a man of this age, which he attributed to the manual labour jobs throughout his life.
The best physique in Hollywood (outside of Woody Strode).
yeah. And he got the revenge. his life must be empty after all that.
48
And Henri Fonda was 60. Not bad either.
@@fraerithlelfe6027Henry Fonda was 63 years old and was his time playing a villain and actually did another western Firecreek in 1968 with James Stewart with Fonda playing a bad guy going against James Stewart.
The boot was the smoothest move ever.
Aye, the first time I saw it, it was such a shock.
@@countOfHenneberg "Aye" - I see what you did there... :)
Charles (You brought two too many) Bronson. Genius come back!
That stunt from clock tower 😮
Greatest western ever!
I honestly prefer The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, For a few dollars more and the Great Silence, but it's really good nevertheless.
All good westerns! it's just a matter of opinion.@@zissimus8462
"Looks like we're shy one horse .. Ha Ha ah ha ha"
Best film ever made
Masterpiece this movie is
Yoda you must be. Yes mmmm.
So much that across the Galaxy its fame reaches!
El mejor western de la historia...Bronson, Fonda y la bellísima Cardinale... saludos
No olvides a pancho villas
The top gunfight scene was the one between Frank and Harmonica.
That stuntman that fell by clock had to get hurt. I cringe every time I watch that.
Best dang western ever !
I have 3 copies on DVD, 1 stays brand new 😂
I always wish to find a girl that would like this movie as much, curl up together as a great companion 👍👍😘
what a great movie
Bronson’s role of Harmonica was rewritten into the screenplay when Clint Eastwood turned down playing the man with no name once more. I’m sure most fans also know Bronson was originally Sergio Leone’s choice for the iconic role of the man with no name
Bronson had the role but didn't accept it for whatever reason so Leone settled for Eastwood?
I had no idea. Thanks
Artistically it worked out better. Bronson personifies Harmonica and Eastwood personifies Manco aka the man with no name.
DER BESTE WESTERN ALLER ZEITEN!!!!😊😊😊😊
The music which you hear from 3:30 for about one minute is the same which Bruce Lee used in "Way/Return of the Dragon" (1972), when his character Tang Long/Lung arrives at the Colosseum and sees his final opponent Colt (Chuck Norris) for the first time.
Para mi todos debieran tener un awards. For me all should’ve a award for this movie even the harmonica
5:05 That poor stuntman.
This is Fabio Testi!!!
@@alexanderschiffauer1330 Do you know if he got hurt? I've tried looking on line about him.
Bronson was even better than Eastwood. And Eastwood was great, no doubt about it.
Hé refused the role of Monco (the man with no name), didn't like the script
When banjo starts to play it’s Cheyenne
Jason Robards did a great job there too :)
This had a killer pair of boots
Great movies, go on
Henry Fonda initially refused to play this acting part as he was 63 years of age, and felt he was too old for the part, well he proved himself wrong, he was perfect for the part. He also said in that interview that he was dismayed at the part he had to play where he was the gang leader and butchered the family in the beginning of the movie. He said that it was very disturbing to him even if it was only acting...
5:05 If the gunshot didn't kill him, that fall did. The front flip was epic....the landing painful.
I flinched when he landed. Must have hurt. Props to the stuntman.
Yeah. I don't think he intended to land on his shoulders like that. Ouch!
That was stuntman and later actor Fabio Testi, and he _was_ hurt, leading to the cancellation of a scene in which he had a brief speaking role.
at least the rail looks good that time 😂
Mon acteur , préféré , Charles Bronson, et français Lino Ventura. Qu'il est loin le bon vieux temps du vrai cinéma. 😢😮
I know for a fact the guy in 5:08 hurt his back
It may be a spaghetti movie but it was a dam good movie !
Spaghettis breathed new life into the Western. That genre was long dead in Hollywood before A Fistful Of Dollars - even John Wayne had moved on, and by that time it was all about spy movies, thanks to Bond.
They were much more gritty and real than your average John Wayne stuff
Melhor filme de faroeste
Beleza muito bom 👍👍
well the actors are great in this film, but look at this stuntman 5:10, he almost broke his neck.
I like where Charlie puts the fat boys necktie in the wringer and says, "I'm kinda mad at you."
Did anyone notice the big tactical error in the movie's opening gunfight (5:14)? Granted, they didn't know they were going to engage in a gunfight, so they didn't exactly know to prepare for it. But all three of the bad guys standing so close to each other made them an easy target for a practiced gunslinger like Harmonica Man.
In the lead up not shown in this clip, you see how that situation arose: originally, they took up good positions, but no one got off on the station side of the arrived train, so they thought that's it and walked to their horses.
@@Daneelro So maybe one could credit Harmonica Man for some brilliant tactics of his own to deboard the train on the side opposite the station platform.
Claudia Cardenale was killer in this movie
early in story, actor Lioenel Stander informs her of water rthat only 3 people had bathed .... Claudia retort, " ONE AT A TIME , OR ALL AT ONCE ? "
Claudia also sizzled in THE PROFESSIONALS with Lee Marvin, Burt Lancaster, jack Palance & Ralph Bellamy
I did not expect a gun in a boot.
Ce film un duo exellent
4:57 Time sure flies
Every school boy who's faced bullies identifies with this scene.
A subtheme in Leone’s westerns shows in the sequence starting at 3:01 where the protagonists wind up working together

Why didn't they use the original sound of these old guns, and the smoke they made too?
I cannot but repeat myself, the scene where Harmonica meets the three men waiting for him to kill has a bad editing here. In Hungary in the version that I saw there was a cut at 6:53 to the gun of Jill's husband as he shoots birds. In this way the audience did not know what's happened to Harmonica until we see him in the saloon again. A much better editing than the one here.
I don't agree. I also think this editing was Leon's intent. There was some hacking at the movie over the years and it's only recently been reconstructed as it was originally released. The section you talk about may have been part of that hacking and recent reconstruction. I don't think this movie needs that kind of forced suspense. It's not that kind of movie.
The edit you mention is actually a cut-down TV edit. The scene as you see it is how it was shown across European cinemas, including in Hungary; and _sometimes_ also on TV, also in Hungary. (An even more heavily cut-down version was shown in US cinemas.)
One may argue about this particular editing choice (I'm for this version because it shows Harmonica as less of a perfect hero than The Man With No Name), but most of the other stuff that was cut made the movie less easy to understand.
You might be interested to know that there are a couple of scenes that were cut from all theatrical or TV versions of the film, including the next involving Harmonica after this: injured, he wanders into town, where he is beaten up by a couple of thugs. You see his wounds from that in the next few scenes, like the roadhouse one.
I prefer the cut I have described above. Harmonica will not look perfect to the viewer as Cheyenne shows the wound Harmonica gets at the station in the saloon scene if you remember. Also, for a stronger dramatic effect it is better to see the family on preparing for Jill's visit then showing Harmonica's getting up after the shootout here at the station.
❤❤❤❤❤
10 +++++ !!!! Hi everyone...... 😂😂😊😊😊
💯
They never showed how Bronson got that shoulder gunshot fixed.
the first and the last shoulda been in there
Dev Anand.... Had a brother
Charles bronson, the poor mexican as a hero and Henry Ford, the blue eysed devil. That kills the audience of the movie at that time.

Фильм посредственный
Notice in these childish movies the bad guy always draws first and always gets killed,
I mean they shouldn't even try.
Henry Fonda is not a thug type, nor a rude one, nor a gunslinger. This performance of yours is not credible or credible.
02:52 ..))) What stupid films we watched once upon a time ))))))
