Final Week (35 : part 1/5) of writing a novel until elden ring releases: Around 50 men half igor's and half army, were left to reside before the town of radomir, on request by radomir himself and for two main reasons, one is so that they have a quick way of informing the main force about any hidden force that can attack the city, radomir was so strict about the matter that he sent each general a separate letter asking them to know their men's faces and recognize them, he even did the same with igor, who ripped the paper when it was handed to him, the second reason was the opposite of the first, and that's if they chose to attack the army instead of the city, surrounding them from both direction and crushing the entirety of the forces: -"And you also have to consider their strongest tactic: holding sieges" One of the soldiers was chatting with his friend, those fears were inevitable in their eyes, as they almost got to their first destination, it's 3 am now, the air was freezing and without mercy for the living. At approximate moments in the city, all were officially closed, Zinovy just like anyone else that night, wasn’t getting the need to sleep, he was just lying on the bed, a candle and his glasses put on a table next to him, tons of papers in his lap, he gets up and decides to go out for a walk, he was in a more expensive apartment for the average peasant, he could hear chatting and talking from every street, everyone was awake, surprisingly he sees one open café, and decides to go in. Hospitals and doctors were an exception from the curfew, clinics as well, one of those were open and had some patients in it, suffering all kinds of pain, in it was a dark, long hallway that didn’t have any light, one of the nurses informed the doctor about a very strange thing, that a man has been sitting at the end of it this whole day, she wasn’t sure if he left or not, the doctor was busy at that time and told her to just go rest, and that he will take a look whenever he finishes: -"Maybe he's just asking for a drug" He said, The man was relaxing in fact, very steady hands, wearing a thick green coat that looked unfit for his size, that's because he was hiding something in it, his sleeves had straps around them, and inside it, was an axe used very long ago, its metal part smelled like old blood, and the man himself was smiling at his own thoughts, it was Ivan. Among igor's men were roland, with his friends of course, anatoly and alexander, also fedor, and even vasili who left his wife and kid with her family, with the full intention to protect them with his life, they were all riding roland's tank which he was driving, if it wasn’t for the current war he would've been arrested and possibly spent eternity in prison for his charges, no one saw where or how he acquired such expensive and dangerous machine, he was questioned multiple times to no avail: -"We found it there" or "Maybe the idiots forgot it there" and other various lines he would throw just to evade from the situation.
Day 183 thanking miura by rereading multiple Berserk chapters a day and disscussing them. Day 183 : Ch 327 Ch 327 : Surfacing I was thinking this would be a chapter just showing how everyone cares for Guts being in possible danger. It is insanely important to see everyone just care about Guts there. But nope. The chapter actually shows Griffith himself saving Guts. He does definetly feel bad for what he's done by now and wants to help Guts. It is such an unlogical decision for Griffith to do too. It contrasts so strictly with what he told Guts when they met at the grave for the band of the hawk. There he tried to appear strong and unfeeling. But here Griffith goes out of his way to save Guts for ni reason. And honestly, that feels like something Griffith would do in the Golden Age. He always brew up some insane strategies to help the entire Band of the Hawk. Always acting like a playfull child, he was described like that at some points. As having a smile like a child, and when Guts sees his astral body that childish attitude is something he notices. It is surprising to see even Griffith who always tries to appear so stoic try save Guts just like his friends. Ch 328 : Shooting Star I find it extremely interesting how Shierkes theory leads the narrative. When reading everything for the first time this felt like usual exposition. But with the last chaoter and all the details it is obviously just wrong. I love how well it guides the pacing to slowly reveal what the moonlight child is, but doing it in the wrong direction. It adds some sense of the plot advancing, even though it is standing still and only revealing hints of the truth. Otherwise this chapter also has so many great scenes. Like Farnese realizing how she can be helpfull throughout of magic and also making sure to calm down Casca. And that scene of her realizing she might've said something insensible towards Guts, just to see him br fine eith it is amazing. There's so much care and characterdevelopment within that single scene it is unbelievable. And finally this chapter has another scene of Guts inner thoughts. I wonder what that weird thing was he saw when looking into the light at the beginning of the scene. Guts feels so close to the journeys end, and he really is. But he has fears that everything they are doing right now could be wrong. I wonder what Guts was thinking about how the end of the journey will be. Well there probably weren't any possible things he thought. Just vague emotions of the possibilities. It seems he tried thinking of what he'll do when it is over, but he couldn't imagine what it will be. It still just feels wrong to have an "end". Even if Casca returns, things wouldn't be settled with Griffith, and it would still go on. It wouldn't be an end there'd still be things to go on with. Oh and the last page reveals that shooring stars are just astral bodies going through the tree. That is actually interesting. Guts looking out of the window likely saw that "shooting star" which was actually Griffith. That concludes the onehundtreteightythird day of rereading Berserk. Cause of the few days left I should probably cover spring flowers of distant days now, but it is late and I can't bring myself to go over such an important part now. I especially don't wanna rush that as it was the last of Berserk I read before Miuras passing was announced.
Awesome video as always! Just wanted to point out that the "stuttering problem" was actually in the streaming, all of them said that the game itself had no lagging or stuttering problems! :) I followed sabaku for the entire time and the game crashed only once for him , for the rest it was all very stable ;)
Really? That's reassuring. I hope pc performance won't be underwhelming. I did watch Asmongold stream and he did have some stuttering issues but at that time he has a lot of program running around and he has 20+ google chrome tabs open. Besides that, he also didn't install the latest nvidia drivers for Elden Ring.

I didn't know about Sabaku, but after the redbull event he is already one of my favorites, I hope to watch him play Elden Ring after launch, although his streams are only in Italian and I don't understand much.

He is really a perfectionist, you should see the insane quality of his DS3 lore videos so he does not want to publish "subpar" work, but we've been pressing him to get his videos subtitled for years now, it's so insane that the highest quality content on the soul series is not accessible to 98% of people because of a language barrier!

Second of all, yeah it was true for Sekiro, but ofc that doesn't mean it's the same here. We simply don't know if it was day one patch or not. We also don't know if they were using the newest Nvidia drivers either.

The stuttering and crashes were mentioned at 1:26 it's completely OBS fault. Most of the time the game minimized itself because of obs and couldn't be fullscreen again, like it happened with chuso. In total, OBS crashed twice for him and then he got like really bad fps but he claimed he was playing at 60, and he indeed seemed to be playing at 60, it was just OBS that fucked it up.

Bruh the stream started at 11pm for me and went until 6am, I was waiting checking in every 30mins-1hour WAITING for the DEVELOPER INTERVIEW which never came what a waste of time waiting for elden ring that I could have slept away...
There's so many characters I can make in this game and make them seem legit I can't wait. Here's an example of what I mean, there's a sword that turns into a whip I can easily make Ivy from soulcalibur just based on that alone and add some spells for aesthetics.
It is literally painful how many characters I'm actively trying to build already in my head, having not seen 98+% of gear in this game. Viscerally painful my dude.

The stamina bar looks huge, even without investment. I found this strange, and maybe it works close to the « bloodborne stamina ». We will see, but I will probably try to don’t touch it too much at the begining of my playthrough
I’ve been playing it for review on PC and honestly haven’t had any major technical issues, only some stuttering here and there, but not a lot - it only gets bad when I’m recording via OBS. I have a RTX 2060 and a Ryzen 7 3800x
Maybe its more about ram then gpu then, even the minimal specs need 12gb of ram so probably the game is very much ram hungry. Then again, i finished Horizon Zero Dawn few weeks ago before i bought new gpu, and i played it between 30 and 35/40 fps constantly with occasional stuttering and combat and all was fun, Elden Ring should run better than that for me so occasional stuttering i wont have problem with ( tried HZD with new gpu now, 60fps all on ultra ).
@@mr.manfresh4244 I have most everything on High, with the exception of motion blur being turned off. Probably could do with some more tweaking in the settings to make it run even smoother. I will also add that I moved it initially form my HD to my SSD, so I’d definitely run it on the latter. I have 32gb of ram in my rig, so maybe @Dreamskydance is onto something there

Day 30 of discussing the bosses in Hollow Knight. Feel free to share your thoughts on each boss fellow tarnished. Today we'll be talking about the Sister's of Battle. Just when you think the Mantis Lord's are gonna be the same in the final pantheon you now have to fight all three of them at the same time. This is such a fast paced battle and you're gonna be constantly dodging until one of them is eliminated. After one is down it's just the same like the previous fight. What makes me love this boss more than the original is being able to master defeating all three of them instead of one at a time. Also their soundtrack gets a remix and I'd say they're top 3 for being one of the best bosses in the game. That concludes day 30 of discussing the bosses in Hollow Knight.
Yeah, I never expected myself to be able to fight 3 mantis lords at once. I was flustered at first but I made it somehow. It was a damn epic fight. One of my most favorites in the patheon

Ch 328 : Shooting Star
I find it extremely interesting how Shierkes theory leads the narrative.
When reading everything for the first time this felt like usual exposition.
But with the last chaoter and all the details it is obviously just wrong.
I love how well it guides the pacing to slowly reveal what the moonlight child is, but doing it in the wrong direction.
It adds some sense of the plot advancing, even though it is standing still and only revealing hints of the truth.
Otherwise this chapter also has so many great scenes.
Like Farnese realizing how she can be helpfull throughout of magic and also making sure to calm down Casca.
And that scene of her realizing she might've said something insensible towards Guts, just to see him br fine eith it is amazing.
There's so much care and characterdevelopment within that single scene it is unbelievable.
And finally this chapter has another scene of Guts inner thoughts.
I wonder what that weird thing was he saw when looking into the light at the beginning of the scene.
Guts feels so close to the journeys end, and he really is.
But he has fears that everything they are doing right now could be wrong.
I wonder what Guts was thinking about how the end of the journey will be. Well there probably weren't any possible things he thought. Just vague emotions of the possibilities.
It seems he tried thinking of what he'll do when it is over, but he couldn't imagine what it will be. It still just feels wrong to have an "end". Even if Casca returns, things wouldn't be settled with Griffith, and it would still go on. It wouldn't be an end there'd still be things to go on with.
Oh and the last page reveals that shooring stars are just astral bodies going through the tree.
That is actually interesting.
Guts looking out of the window likely saw that "shooting star" which was actually Griffith.
That concludes the onehundtreteightythird day of rereading Berserk.
Cause of the few days left I should probably cover spring flowers of distant days now, but it is late and I can't bring myself to go over such an important part now.
I especially don't wanna rush that as it was the last of Berserk I read before Miuras passing was announced.

I followed sabaku for the entire time and the game crashed only once for him , for the rest it was all very stable ;)

I did watch Asmongold stream and he did have some stuttering issues but at that time he has a lot of program running around and he has 20+ google chrome tabs open. Besides that, he also didn't install the latest nvidia drivers for Elden Ring.

B - at the redbull event I don't think it was a green screen but instead an augmented reality set
C - as an italian I'm just so happy that sabaku had the opportunity to partecipate to this event. It was really great
I didn't know about Sabaku, but after the redbull event he is already one of my favorites, I hope to watch him play Elden Ring after launch, although his streams are only in Italian and I don't understand much.
@@CyberJedi1 Hopefully he will start using subtitles now that he has had a great reception by the English speaking community. He is really a perfectionist, you should see the insane quality of his DS3 lore videos so he does not want to publish "subpar" work, but we've been pressing him to get his videos subtitled for years now, it's so insane that the highest quality content on the soul series is not accessible to 98% of people because of a language barrier!

The new health, fp and stamina bars look superb. I'm very glad they added a bit more character to them.

I thought Sekiro's day one patch was actually version 1.02, so ER bring 1.01 doesn't necessarily mean it was the day one patch. Checking the wiki seems to confirm it.

@@gatorslayer2388 Unfortunately the game will get review bombed simply because it's a popular game. There's a group on 4chan dedicated to just review bombing it lol. Second of all, yeah it was true for Sekiro, but ofc that doesn't mean it's the same here. We simply don't know if it was day one patch or not. We also don't know if they were using the newest Nvidia drivers either.

I don't know if I'll ever hook myself back to the reality that we're within a march distance to the release of Elden Ring itself. The fabled thing we scrambled about in the dark over for years now since the Great Rune leaks. 4:55 The harp bow is probably based on a type of ceremonial bow used in real-life shintoism called "Azusa Yumi". Essentially it's tailor-made to hunt evil spirits, to the point where just strumming the bowstring scares them away; it's basically a one-stringed harp as much as it is a longbow.

The stuttering and crashes were mentioned at 1:26 it's completely OBS fault. Most of the time the game minimized itself because of obs and couldn't be fullscreen again, like it happened with chuso. In total, OBS crashed twice for him and then he got like really bad fps but he claimed he was playing at 60, and he indeed seemed to be playing at 60, it was just OBS that fucked it up.

Didn’t Asmongold stream it on PC? Watched a brief glimpse and it looked fine to me. God I hope it was OBS.
At least the crashes were due to obs, the latest version of obs has some crashing issues. And asmongolds game didn't crash, there was something wrong with his power outlet or something. But yeah, didn't notice a lot of stuttering so i hope it's gonna be a good experience!
Even so the day one patch will probably fix any issues
@@hatefulgaming1800 they supposedly had the day 1 patch installed because it said "version 1.01". Hope they have something more ready for launch to further improve performance.

There's so many characters I can make in this game and make them seem legit I can't wait. Here's an example of what I mean, there's a sword that turns into a whip I can easily make Ivy from soulcalibur just based on that alone and add some spells for aesthetics.
It is literally painful how many characters I'm actively trying to build already in my head, having not seen 98+% of gear in this game.

The stamina bar looks huge, even without investment. I found this strange, and maybe it works close to the « bloodborne stamina ». We will see, but I will probably try to don’t touch it too much at the begining of my playthrough
I’ve been playing it for review on PC and honestly haven’t had any major technical issues, only some stuttering here and there, but not a lot - it only gets bad when I’m recording via OBS. I have a RTX 2060 and a Ryzen 7 3800x

Maybe its more about ram then gpu then, even the minimal specs need 12gb of ram so probably the game is very much ram hungry.
Then again, i finished Horizon Zero Dawn few weeks ago before i bought new gpu, and i played it between 30 and 35/40 fps constantly with occasional stuttering and combat and all was fun, Elden Ring should run better than that for me so occasional stuttering i wont have problem with ( tried HZD with new gpu now, 60fps all on ultra ).
@@mr.manfresh4244 I have most everything on High, with the exception of motion blur being turned off. Probably could do with some more tweaking in the settings to make it run even smoother. I will also add that I moved it initially form my HD to my SSD, so I’d definitely run it on the latter. I have 32gb of ram in my rig, so maybe @Dreamskydance is onto something there

Day 30 of discussing the bosses in Hollow Knight. Feel free to share your thoughts on each boss fellow tarnished. Today we'll be talking about the Sister's of Battle.
Just when you think the Mantis Lord's are gonna be the same in the final pantheon you now have to fight all three of them at the same time. This is such a fast paced battle and you're gonna be constantly dodging until one of them is eliminated. After one is down it's just the same like the previous fight.
What makes me love this boss more than the original is being able to master defeating all three of them instead of one at a time. Also their soundtrack gets a remix and I'd say they're top 3 for being one of the best bosses in the game. That concludes day 30 of discussing the bosses in Hollow Knight.
Yeah, I never expected myself to be able to fight 3 mantis lords at once. I was flustered at first but I made it somehow. It was a damn epic fight. One of my most favorites in the patheon
Too much Elden Ring news, it's an exciting time. I'm not hyper sensitive to spoilers but it seems a little much. Even seeing the network test footage I felt spoiled but I'm sure I'll love it. Just a few more days!
