Is it not the fact that the purpose of a "transfer" bid is to transfer the hand so that the dummy is altered?
@coderAsif That was always my understanding of transfers- specifically to make it so declarer plays the stronger (ie. opener’s) of the 2 hands.
1NT - 2S is a 'shut up' response from partner, bid no more..
