Starlink 6 satelites train seen from the earth.

  • This video shows a “train” of SpaceX Starlink satellites crossing with each other on April 22, 2020, shortly after launch. This was a test of a laser communication system. Laser beams are not visible to the human eye because their wavelengths are not in the spectrum of visible light. Digital cameras can capture a wider range of wavelengths, so it is possible to capture laser beams in this case as well.
    Thanks for the subscriptions.

No, you won't see them, they point the solar panels in directions to avoid reflections, which is what you see on the ground. The physical satellites will still cause some issues though from physically flying between telescope and star/planet being observed.

I declare a Captain Disillusion style debunk thread.
    >(the zoom)Ok the first thing i noticed was the zoom at 0:28, since the beginning of the video the camera appears to be hand handled, then suddenly a smooth and precise zoom to the very center of the crossed paths of the two "trains" (yeah i'll get into this in a second) like if this person had some robotic hands, usually when someone handling a camera tries to point and zoom on a subject the footage of that moment comes out a lot shakier, also the shakiness of the video should increase after the zoom, but still nothing this man must have some really steady hands....BUT THIS IS WEAK SHIT let's go to the good stuff.
    >(the zoom pt.2)Another issue i noticed during the zoom was not only the loss in definition (noticeable through a 4k screen) but something related to the color banding factor, this factor in particular depends not only by the gradient of the sky but also by the curvature of the lens itself (as shown practically at the beginning of this video th-cam.com/video/p2-NiRTtLKA/w-d-xo.html), and yet no change at all during and after the zoom (you can check the top left corner).
    Wanna go deeper? ok.
    >(The physics and facts)On April 22nd 2020 SpaceX launched Falcon 9 Block 5 with a payload consisting of 60 satellites deployed in orbit on a straight line ( www.spacelaunchschedule.com/launch-schedule/launch-details.php?id=2053 ), in this video the satellites shown are indeed 60....26 travelling bottom-left->top-right and 34 top-left->bottom-right, into orbit changing the trajectory of a satellite by 90 degrees requires a disgusting amount of energy that no space agency is willing to waste and the outcome of this process is not certain, so is it possible that 2 trains of different amount of satellites might have been deployed? No. Not according to the registries, resumed here(en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starlink#Launches and on this website www.spacelaunchschedule.com/launch-schedule/ ).
    >(The physics pt.2)The only way to see a laser beam not pointed straight at the viewer is by capturing his reflections scattered from atmospheric particles, at 550km from the ground the atmosphere is just too thin for the scattering to be perceived, with the exception of very expensive technology (millions of euros) or by using a very powerful laser (which in data transfer over solar powered satellites just means waste).
    >No one needs a laser so thick in order to transfer data, usually a transmitter uses a thin concentrated beam to reduce the dispersion over distance. Also each Starlink satellite can usually communicate with 4 other satellites at the same time, not 2.
    >This video explains fairly well how Starlink works: th-cam.com/video/giQ8xEWjnBs/w-d-xo.html.
Captain, Master, am i a good debunker? loal
So yeah, this is why i think the video is fake.

Nice debunking! Also, the laser would not be focused enough to completely only hit the other satellites, the laser light would also miss the satellite a bit. So why would it be visible only exactly between the satellites?
And why would the satellites communicate only when crossing super close to each other? They would be communicating with the satellites further away as well.

    • @OxyDazeOff
      @OxyDazeOff 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@kedrednael At least 725km circa, if i'm right each train of satellites should cover the entire orbit (approximated from the average radius of the earth + 550km), by distancing the units by 725km from each other, imo those satellites are even too close for a reliable communication test, but i can't say that for certain, what i'm sure about is the fact that the lasers are fakes, and the satellites count doesn't look correct.

The technology is a great idea, to have such a set of satellites providing internet access around the world. My only issue with this is, there are already a lot of satellites up there, which can cause a number if issues, including 1: higher potential for collisions and objects falling back to earth, 2: obstructing the view of the night sky for astronomers and stargazers, 3: additional obstructions for space launches to and from the ISS, and further out.

12 de setembro de 2021. Data das Naves.
Tentaram nós enganar dizendo que é satélites. SEMPRE TENTAM ABAFAR KKKKK
      A GRANDE MENTIRA.
Diz aí o que acham!!! Leia👇👇👇

I’ve witnessed it in real life looks much more like a satellite light (sort of dim but noticeable in the night sky) that starts at one point in the sky and streaks in a straight line (in my case west to east) across the sky to a point where it disappears from view. Each light is followed by the next on the exact same path and It repeats for however many satellites are in that train. My guess is that changes a bit as they spread out after launch before being re-routed to their final positions.
