On those disl pins for the lifters you run a small flat spot in 1 side of the rods. Put them in with the flat side to the lifters. Once all the way in turn the rod sp it'll apply pressure to them. Easy trick

212/218 is a great daily driver can and would also be a great turbo can because it's going to produce a lot of torque under the curve which will help spool the turbo
it was a great cam no complaints just wanted something a little more aggressive 👌
Looking to do the same thing to my turbo Silverado. Previous setup was a 6.0 ls3 heads Texas speed cleeter turbo cam. Blew it up now doing a 5.3, arp head studs, arp mains, Rod bolts,243 heads. I’m looking at the BRR stage 2 turbo cam, I heard the smaller turbo cam create better down low torque to spool the turbo rather than the stage 3 is a bit less down low torque for more top end power. Help me decide lmao 🤣

Bro that's crazy I had the same exact cam you had and was looking into the same exact cam you went to. I was able to make the baby cam chop tho. kinda solidifies my decision tho to get the stage 3 v2 turbo cam sounds dope!

I’m running a stage 3 twin turbo Texas speed good cam.

Its the first cam, almost stock? Does it needs tune or other parts?
It was a light cam, but yes it still requires a tune. Basically with any cam. And you would also need some push rods but some cams come with them if you get the kit. Also stiffer springs but not really necessary.

Obviously I watch your videos of you installing things and doing mods but do you do ALL of your own work by yourself or is the other dude in your vids a mechanic?
Asking cause I’m thinking about a cam for my Yukon but don’t know any shops or mechanics to do the labor/tune afterwards.
That other dude is his brother I think and I’m pretty sure Erik helps too, and don’t be scared to cam your truck bro it’s easy and there’s plenty of vids out there to help you, just make sure about the specs, you don’t want valves hitting your pistons, and after that just look for a good tuner
Yeah Abraham is correct the other guy is my brother lol and most of the work I do is off camera kinda hard to do both, but yeah If you have any knowledge on working on cars give it go but if now definitely have someone help you! 👌

Anyways I need someone to install it man if you or your bro are down let me know how much you’d ask for your labor..or if you know any mechanic you can recommend.

it’s is truth that I need to swap my transmission as well. There’s a lot of misinformation out there. I see you have a trailblazer super sport intake
I mean if I do the cam shaft do I need to change my transmission?
There is, No bro you don’t need to change out your transmission. If you get an aggressive cam you would need to change out your torque converter in the transmission. But there are cams that you don’t need to do that just throw the cam in and your on your way. I believe like the chopacabra from Texas speed you can just throw it in and go. And some other cams as well.
