I have the 2000 silver Monte SS. A quiet fast car. Good build quality, I have to say. Should last to 180,000 miles = no problem. Might need a wheel and hub and an oxygen sensor. And a window regulator. The usual things you replace anyway.
I still get compliments and offers on mine. I will never sell. My husband said he will bury me in it considering it's practically rebuilt. I wont let it die =]
I'm so sorry I hope she smd everyone wasn't harmed. I assume it was for the fire recalls in the past? Mine just blew the intake again, but it has been years since that first happened. I hope to get a super charger top swap on her soon.
@@torreypires520 thank you very much I really appreciate that. 45 series, with one inch wheel adapters all around hub centric only. I used to have 235s on them because they were given to me from my mom's boyfriend. The profile didn't sit you right and then of course doing research going 245 45 it just made more sense for the accuracies of the trash control system and the speedometer, plus you're getting a wider tire just a little more profile and it's still comfortable. I might have not going with the original tire size for the 18-in rims means that with this body you're not getting issues with rubbing in the rear which is very annoying, due to tire being so tall at 235/50
@@torreypires520 BC coilovers in the rear I still need to change the springs on all four. The kid in the front comes from my Toyota Avalon / Camry off of eBay because I want to adjustability in the dampers, and a longer strut. When you type in on eBay looking for Grand Prix, or Buick regal coilovers that's the ones I used but I only used the mounting brackets and the springs. The spring seem to be very short and linear and I need to upgrade to a progressive longer spring front and rear. So what I did was I purchased another kit like stated before of the Avalon and I used those springs in those dampers for the front and I use the spring also for the rear on the bc. Would BC you can order parts separately and build your own kit I didn't want the entire kit for the pricing. The rear is not adjustable on the BC however I think if you get the special order kit through either zzp or someone else you can get the adjustable dampers if they still have it available but keep in mind it is very expensive and to me not worth it. Also if you choose to use the Camry Avalon kit keep in mind the damper is still too short for the rear even though it is adjustable that's the reason why I had to go with the longer dampers from BC. The ride in the front is still a little harsh or bumpy at times and that's due to the shorter springs. However in the rear is not that bad because the dampers are longer but it still can be a little too firm at times, meaning that if I turn hard enough in a corner I can lift the rear wheel. I have not made a video yet on this and I've been out of town working for about 7 months in texas. That is one of my goals is to improve the suspension overall. It just saddens me that I have to waste money trying to fix other things with the car due to it being stolen for the repair shop and repair shop not using the insurance money to properly repaint my vehicle which as you see the videos of shit is flaking off. Si no eres capaz de hacer eso rickyándolo; lo mejor que puede hacer es ir a un depósito de chatarra y conseguir todos los cilindros de la puerta, el cilindro del maletero y el cilindro de la llave de encendido y conseguir las llaves de ese vehículo para que su coche tenga todas las mismas llaves.
