  • Chinese supermarket in Abuja shut down for allegedly barring Nigerians -
Imagine yourself barred from entering a supermarket, not due to your appearance or financial means, but solely based on your nationality. And what adds insult to injury is the fact that this isn't some foreign land-it's your own home country. A firestorm of outrage has erupted online after a supermarket in Nigeria's capital, Abuja, was accused of denying entry to African shoppers. The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has shut down the store while investigating claims that it only allows Chinese individuals to enter.
Nigeria's consumer protection authorities have closed down a Chinese-owned supermarket in Abuja, the country's capital, following accusations of discriminating against African shoppers. According to Nigeria's consumer protection watchdog, the supermarket allegedly restricts entry exclusively to individuals of Chinese descent. The owner of the supermarket has been summoned to appear before the authorities.
Boladale Adeyinka, an official at Nigeria's Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), confirmed that an investigation has been initiated into the allegations following widespread social media outrage. Reports surfaced of Nigerians being denied entry by security personnel when attempting to access the supermarket.

The Chinese have studied the African leaders and see most of them have very little under their hats. In Kenya the same thing is happening with the Asians and they don't allow black Africans in their stores. What is wrong with Nigerians that they can't set up a modern supermarket like the Chinese? Have the Chinese been paying taxes in this market?

@sterlingferguson1704 Nigerians have many indigenous owned supermarkets, many people didn't even know that the particular supermarket existed, A particular man saw it and decided to go buy something in it, then they told him, he can't go in, that's when he did a video to expose it

If that happened in Papua New Guinea, the store would be burnt down for sure.
    Before the government intervened.
The chinese have an attitude where they use security guards even when they know that they're wrong.
These people are everywhere in every country.
Worst of all, they would never bank their hard cash in banking facilities. Rather, they'd place it in a bag or burry it underground.
Which is the case here in Papua New Guinea.
Well done, Nigeria government, for closing the store.

Nigerians have allegedly blocked South Africans from renting properties owned by Nigerians in Yeoville, South Africa. They apparently purchase these apartments and will only rent to fellow Nigerians and not to South Africans.....strange. I guess it a all about etiquette....basics on how to behave graciously as a guest in other people's countries.

You and I knows that they eat almost every thing and are proud of it. My question is this, Do you eat everything? Our problem is simply greed and nothing else.. Those foods can not make you fair and short like the Chinese. You should remain a proud Nigerian and be satisfied with what God has blessed us with. Come home and enjoy all the good things in Nigeria.
