think about the donkey -- " y - en - y - en" aahahahahaha. The really hard thing with this topic is when you have some of the more advanced verbs and you have to know whether they go with à or de, and sometimes both are possible (penser à/penser de, a little different but still . . . very close). In any language, prepositions are hard and require a ton of practice. This was a great review! You are amazing.
Paul, you will never forget the donkey 😅 I agree that the hardest part is about prepositions. Like I always say, study the ones you are going to use. Thank you for your comment and compliment :D
Bonjour a vous, Madame Dylane! Je suis nouveau de cette classe. Je viens de Nigeria et j'apprecie votre seances. Vous êtes tres belle aussi. J'ai pris le examen et j'en ai obtenir dix-huit de vingt.(Rate this, pls) Mind you, I took my time to think and arrange my French. 😂 Merci beaucoup.
Bonjour Dylane👋🏼 This was a challenge. I think I got it. I would read the sentence/phrase in the quiz you gave at the end and I would try to replace the prepositional phrase with "there or that for 'y' " or if it referred to a person or amount for "en". I need to review it again. But I understand these two pronouns better now. The placement of the pronoun is difficult, but this is true for most of my difficulties in French, is where to put things.😜 I am dyslexic, so learning a language is quite a challenge.☺ Merci beaucoup! As always, I learn something and feel motivated after watching your videos!
I think you have a very good understanding , but like anything else you'll find yourself coming back to it more than once to master it or nail it down in that respect.. Its the same for everybody, and don't be worried about dyslexia either , because the truth been known, we all suffer to a greater or lesser degree with that as well.. Everybody has strengths and weaknesses in french, and language in general is like an uncompleted jigsaw in the very beginning until you see all the pieces take shape and come together, and that's when you have your light - bulb moment so to speak or as some people like to refer to it as the penny dropping.. !
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane I am, and to be honest, I sometimes, a lot of times think I will never get past the blocks in my path to french fluency. But every week I see your vlogs, or one of your "Short vids" pop Up, and it helps to remind me that this is a language, it takes times and lots of immersion and not just living in the country the language is spoken.🤔😊🦋💐

Hi Dylane, Thank you so much for your lessons! I find them so helpful! Could you help me understand if Tu portes une robe-> Tu la portes is right or do we have use en here to replace the quantity? So will it be Tu en portes?
Hi Dylane, great to see you back, hope that you enjoyed a well earned rest. I can never seem to be able to download pdf, it sends me to subscibe, which I am already then says that an email will be sent but nothing comes through, thank you for your help Declan

20 out of 20. :-) Some questions what else can y and en replace? Plus for Q2 I think the translation is missing for instance go instead of to. :-)
Is something missing in one of the translations? Please let me know which one so I can add a note :)
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane 19:54 Q2 "Je vais prendre des falafels" "I will to have falafel" perhaps replace by "I am going to have falafel"

Madame ,in french why do we say un animal domestique and not un domestique animal
Parce que les adjectifs sont en général après le nom ;)
