    Got one of the II version on the way, finally, arrives Monday! Have been waiting ages for this thing. Thanks for doing the walkthrough. Looking forward to playing with DOCS. It seems overall the C7H vs SGII bios changes are minimal, only removing some of the super niche features that are used by very few people.
    Coming from a C7H which will not run 1833+ Fclock without issues. Benches fine out to 2000, but it's not stable in all programs. Really hoping the x470 to x570(s) upgrade, newer bios revisions, and DOCS paired with chilled water lets me finally get this 5950x to run at its' full potential.

    I drove 6 hours to the micro center in Dallas, and they had one left. I took the chance and bought it right along with rtx 3090. well worth it.😅

    I've seen on some videos that seem to indicate that there is a setting in the bios which allows the cpu to raise in frequency as needed up to its max boost clock so long as temperature constraints are being met. I'm feeling a little lost inside my x570-e bios- first time working with such a modern uefi mobo. Could you point me in the right direction?

    Thank you for the tutorial! Got a question tho if you don’t mind. I have the exact same CPU as in your build and I’ve noticed that your CPU temperature in BIOS is 38-39 degrees, while mine is 48-49 degrees. My cooler is noctua-d15s, so technically it should keep the cpu cool. Yet there is a 10 degree difference between our builds, what do you think might be the reason for that? Maybe I have applied to much thermal paste or screwed the cooler to tightly?

    • @assasssin5328
      @assasssin5328 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve also noticed that my cpu fan speed is 860 RPM, while yours is 1920 RPM, so I guess that it has the impact as well. If that is the reason, is it possible to increase the cpu fan speed in the bios? Is it necessary to do so?

    • @GrayaOverload
      @GrayaOverload  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@assasssin5328 The fan speed could be the reason. I tested this in a 22*C basement. it was on a 360 rad cooler which will take a lot longer to heat up. What is your temps when you stress test or playing a game or doing a heavy workload? I am more concerned about that then the idle temp. At idle I look for a balance between quite and cool.

    • @assasssin5328
      @assasssin5328 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GrayaOverload Hi, thanks for replying. I stress tested my CPU with Cinebench and AMD ryzen master and got 60-63 degrees at default. However, CPU power, TDC and EDC were at max (they were red). TDC and EDC were at 100% at their max and their indicators turned red. CPU power was just red. PPT was yellow at around 89%. I'm not sure if it is ok or not that they are red and yellow cause I have seen JayzTwoCents tutorial on how to test your PC and most of his indicators were green. He also used Precision Boost Overdrive, I tried to do the same thing but it only increased the cpu temps to 85 degress (I guess it is normal for PBO) and PPT tuned green as well, other indicators stayed at red (except TDC that turned yellow at 84%). So I decided to turn everything back to default. Just in case if it is crucial, I didn't do any overclocking on my CPU.

    • @GrayaOverload
      @GrayaOverload  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@assasssin5328 For thoes being red i would only worry if the mobo can't handle it. If VRM termps going up then I would be concerned. I have a question about what case you have?

My pc crashes and restarts when I try to play a game, I checked my bios and noticed my +5V was occasionally 4.538 and constantly dipping below it, flashing red.
