Wood Turning an Amazing Segmented Sapele Vase
I picked a sapele board and some maple veneer from ‪@rockler‬ this week and thought it would make a beautiful vase!
It turned out better than I imagined!

Haven't turned Sappele before, but walnut smells amazing!!! Elm not so much. My favorite smelling wood to date is a piece of Olive that I got from Turkey.

I just made a Christmas ornament, flat, out of this wood. Newbi at wood working..given to me as scrap in class. Love the grain stength..
