Camotes Island's untouched beauty truly shines in your video. It's refreshing to see such a serene location without the crowds. Your exploration of the hidden caves adds an element of adventure and mystery, highlighting the island's raw charm. It's incredible to think that such a tranquil paradise is still largely undiscovered. Thanks for your fantastic work in showcasing these hidden gems!✨

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Boku is good! My wife and I have property on Camotes, right next to Paraiso cave and we're going to start a business on the island. It's clean with good water. :) You ate at our favorite restaurant on the beach! So glad you had a good time! The raw fish in vinegar is my wife's favorite and very fresh there.

During World War II, the locals hid in the caves to be safe from Japanese soldiers.

I suggest you explore the mountains of Cebu mainland (either in the southern, central and southern parts including Cebu City mountains) where hundreds of waterfalls can be found. Well-paved scenic roads crisscross the mountains of Cebu passing through quaint farming villages, resorts, camping sites, botanical gardens, chic cafes, farmlands, lush jungles and verdant valleys, and discover turquoise waterfalls, blue holes, blue streams and scenic peaks. Cebu must be the only place in the Philippines where you can practically drive (either your scooter or car) on the mountains and be able to see either or both of the east and west coasts of the island.

In the Philippines province, most above ground cemetery are rented for 5 years, at the end of which the bone remains will be moved to a permanent place. Unless the deceased rich enough to buy their burial spot before hand, most will be burried this way. Whether these bones will be piled in together with rich relative burial spot, or in a bag if no one claim them, or let dogs scatter them. The result is the open niche are available for the next occasion.
