MALAYSIA history date back to 600 BC . Books and manuscripts had been written in Jawi ( Arab Melayu) since the 9th Century and this writing alphabet is still taught and use today. MOST Malaysia history are based on archeological findings, preserved manuscript and collection by the royal Family.
British historians had tried to convinced their version ( in romanic writing )but were rejected after Malaysia gained Indepedence... Not like Indonesia who had no other refereral other than in romanic writing. MOST of Indonesian History is the version approved by Soekarno and PKI doctrine. Non approved History are either blanked out or reduce to few sentences. Hence Indonesian are little knowledge on history on Malay Kingdom eg Acheh Kingdom.
