This was Tango's longest flight at this point ❤❤ we were hesistant but so glad Jamie and Dave pushed us to do this location! It was a huge turning point for us! We realized that, while he still needed to work on skills like braking and gauging his distances, he was able to handle more difficult terrain/wind then we had thought. And you could tell he wanted to land with us but just didn't know how. We also realized that WE were lacking some major skills, and this was the first day we began to really assess and form "game plans" for ourselves :)
hey ,if anyone else needs to find out about how to teach your parrot to talk try Pycanta Parrot Tips Protocol (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my cousin got cool results with it.
Ashlyn ...How is your other bird doing? Just wondering,...I know that she has some issues with arthritis. Did the change in her diet, help that at all? You have beautiful birds, and you guys are awesome bird parents!!! It’s so wonderful to see Tango on her free flight journey!!! Lots of love and hugs to all of you, from Phoenix, Arizona!!!💕🤗💖🦜🥰
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to learn about how to train a parrot try Pycanta Parrot Tips Protocol ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my buddy got great success with it.
Watching them fly is so beautiful, nothing is a better cure for my problems than seeing birds fly freely :) I love watching these videos! Im hoping one day Ill learn to freefly a macaw of my own (I am not ready yet at all lol)
Woo hooooo - Im Freee !! Loved the Birdies - Editing & music - Fantastic !! What a fabulous trip,, glad your daughter experiences these Life & Love Adventures !!
Gorgeous scenery! Loved the slo-mo! Capri is becoming more and more confident isn't she? Had to love the Mom thing; check the birds, Jinx! Check on Capri, check the birds, where's Capri? OK, you ready? You're a Mom rockstar!
Anna M Jinx, my blue throat. But honestly all of our own birds were quite out of shape this trip because of our intense travel schedule so I wasn’t able to condition them ahead of time. But it was still fun to have them out and focus on Tango.
Thanks for the great videos. They give me strength and make me smile. Gotta love your flock ;o) I gotta get something fluffy again once I've managed to recover.
I love your group! I have one hand raised African gray, an adopted Amazon both are sweet. Then I have a 26 year old adopted African gray that bites when I try to get him to step up. Help!
thecatmeowsalot we would have brought him and Cressi if we had them in our show but we only had show birds during this trip based on our fundraiser tour. We did a fundraiser show for the Moab education foundation which is why we were here at all, just flying on the side!
It can be a really, really long process. If you go check out Morgan Jorgenson, the red macaw she worked with her entire process was with the plan of free flight at the end. There should be a huge playlist on Morgan in there somewhere.
A lot of practice training and experience doing inside. Then take them outside, put them on a stand, and let them fly to you, and back to the stand. Eventually they start their exploratory flight. From that moment on, they begin to teach themselves how to fly
I have a 3 years old green chick from his first days of his birth . This parrot is with me 10 hours a day and he never leave my shoulder.I do like try take him outdoors yet but im afraid may he fly away for ever . When u think is the right time to take him outdoor? Thanks
QUESTION: Do you have any tips on how to start flight training?? I am having troubles encouraging my bird to fly. He flys around the house all the time but he doesn’t want to fly to me. He is very bonded to me so I don’t know why he won’t.
You might need a higher value treat, or higher food motivation. I think you would get a lot of tips from my family friendly course! www.familyfriendlyparrot.com - you can get it with follow up consults too so we can help you troubleshoot the process.
When you lure a bird to step up by showing a treat . . (even though he’s scared of your finger . . I think the bird knows full well, that he has to step on your finger to get the treat, but he’s made the calculation that the treat is worth the risk.
Nilfirith no, she has been with patty since after my previous Moab trip and I’ve been asked to keep her out of the spotlight after the dramatics with previous owners so not sure when I’ll be able to update about her. Sure miss her though!
Ola Haraldson-Dørum if you go back in my videos to my video about finding comet’s soulmate (macaws who stare at their feet) you’ll meet tango for the first time as we did - he is a baby blue and gold macaw that was clipped as a fledgling and this is his first trip outdoors since we’ve been doing one on one consults with his owners Ashlyn and David.
They're trained to come back to their owners and they also consider them a part of their flock and birds usually don't just leave their flock behind :)
I like your dinosaurs.

Which of your birds has the strongest flying skills, you would say?
Anna M Jinx, my blue throat. But honestly all of our own birds were quite out of shape this trip because of our intense travel schedule so I wasn’t able to condition them ahead of time. But it was still fun to have them out and focus on Tango.

thecatmeowsalot we would have brought him and Cressi if we had them in our show but we only had show birds during this trip based on our fundraiser tour. We did a fundraiser show for the Moab education foundation which is why we were here at all, just flying on the side!
I know I’m late to the party but how did you know/trust they won’t fly away? This is amazing to me
Wow there doing so well how did you teach them to free fly so well

Where is your Moab?
Is there a chance that the bird can just fly away and never come back! And we're helpless.?
Who was teaching him to say "Meow, Meow"?
Do you have any conure free flight training videos on the steps on how to transition your conure to be outside
I wanna give my hopefully future cockatiel this freedom
I have a 3 years old green chick from his first days of his birth .

What would happen if you free-fighted those parrots in their natural habitat in Australia? I don’t think they would come back or would they?
7:20 What song is it? These free flight videos are amazing.
When you said ‘I couldn’t find the word in English. English is hard’. Do you speak a different language or not? Let me know🙂

How to teach macaws to fly
Why won't the birds fly away? How do you know they will come back?
They're trained to come back to their owners and they also consider them a part of their flock and birds usually don't just leave their flock behind :)
