Hi Maria, loved your calm and inspirational podcast, thank you!
thanks so much for watching :)
Lovely to hear from you Maria. You are such a wonderful knitter and seamstress. Always a pleasure to catch up with you.
thank you!
Thank you Maria, it was so nice catching up with you and your lovely makes, it all looks super practical and very beautiful - thank you! Keep well. Irene x 42:24
Thanks so much 😊
A lovely episode. Be careful when blocking black yarn in a stripe. It may bleed. You might try steaming the garment.
Thanks for the advice! That's why I always block my swatch so I know if it will bleed or not :)
Nice to see you again ❤
thanks so much
The spot on your hand where you indicated is painful is exactly where I have arthritis, in three spots apparently. (Now on both hands). I’ve had to loosen my gauge in order to keep knitting. I’m still knitting though, thankfully.
oh wow! Sorry to hear that... I hope this is temporary inflammation for me
Maria, I have autoimmune de Quervains tenosynovitis. It is usually caused by repetitive motion. I wear a hand/ wrist splint which works well. In the past when it was quite severe i had some cortisone shots which also worked well. I hope this information can help you. Loved the video. ❤
Oh wow! I really hope this is temporary for me. I'm glad to hear you've found some relief
That orange dress is so your colour, stunner! I also love the yarn combination of the tynn peer gynt with the berenice. Need to try that!
:) Thanks Wenke
Beautiful makes again. 🧵🪡🧶
So lovely to see your makes, Maria. You’ve inspired me to maybe cast on another Musselburgh hat! I’ve knitted one each for my three grandchildren, possibly, one for me, now! X💕
It is such a good pattern! Enjoy :)
