    Great info that I’ve never previously considered or been advised of. I’ll be working on tweaking some things after the hunting season. Thanks for the insight and education.

    I am not exactly new to archery but I am to bow hunting, and your videos have done nothing but help me. Especially the Mathews top hat video. Keep up the good work man and look forward to the next one!

    I went from a old bow to a new one biggest change is the grip size. Feels like its easier to tweak shots left or right by grip pressure. Taken awhile to change for me.

    The description is interesting - What kind of video is THIS ?

    Do you like the Bee Real grip? I am not 100% sold on the engage grip on my VXR.

    wouldn't raising the d loop make the bow top tip towards the shooter, not the other way around? I've been fighting dips in my pin float, and have been raising the loop, should I be lowering it?

    • @InsideOutPrecision
      @InsideOutPrecision  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ambiguity22 well just raising the loop will take your bow way out tune. This is just change how the bow holds and honestly it’s kind of an antiquated method… people asked for a video on it and I made one, but if your struggling with a dip it’s most likely short draw length issue

    What would be a good beginner hunting from tree stand setup??

    I’m having trouble aiming with my 40 yd pin. Sometimes especially on 3D targets I shoot over the target. Am I “approaching that pin incorrectly or could this be a draw length problem. For reference I run 29.5” draw length with 29” string stop in order to decrease letoff. I’m getting very good steady holds with the set up as is especially for my age. I’m 75. I usually try to draw level and then bend at the waist to bring 40 yd. pin up on point of aim. Is this incorrect?

    I have a problem shooting my 40 yd. pin. On release I sometimes let the bow ride up high and overshoot my target. It usually only happens when I’m shooting 3D. Am I aiming incorrectly in the way I get the pin on true?

    Show how you change your loop and tie it on?

  • @Hogslobber

    Couldn't you back off and tighten up equal top and bottom n keep weight? So back out 1/2 turn top add 1/2 turn on bottom should have similar effect as 1 complete turn out on top ?

    • @InsideOutPrecision
      @InsideOutPrecision  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s not about the weight, it’s about changing the grip pressure which will effect the way your bow aims. If you’re just trying to change the weight then yeah you want to take equal turns in/out of top and bottom

    Will having a back bar help me from holding low? I have some target panic and know that contributes to this. I am looking to work on my target panic after the archery season is over. In the meantime I’m wondering how much of a difference a better balanced set of stabilizers will make.

    • @michaelswenson8399
      @michaelswenson8399 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A back bar adds significant weight overall and may make holding your bow up worse. I’ve also found them to be too cumbersome for hunting, can’t deny they do help aim but to me it’s a target archery tool. Target panic just takes time. Couple tips, disassociate from the animal’s face once you decide to harvest it. Don’t just aim at the animal, focus on a single hair you want to hit. depending on how many days you have to hunt, don’t shoot every animal that comes in to range, get comfortable having animals around you for extended periods of time. You can learn a lot about behavior this way as well.

      @@michaelswenson8399 good advice thanks. I don’t think I’m having trouble holding the bow up it’s more like I freeze under the target. For hunting purposes where I live I shoot well enough to kill deer but 6 inch groups at 40 yards is subpar for target shooting. I know I can do better. Added note I don’t shoot deer over 25 yards away. I like the tip about aim small miss small I hadn’t thought about that recently.

      If you’re holding low, first step is to take some weight off the front Stab and see how that affects the pin.

    What is that doing to sight picture

    • @InsideOutPrecision
      @InsideOutPrecision  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Depends on how you do it. It changes the grip pressure, which will either calm your sight picture down or make it worse. Honestly I don’t really ever do this. Just had a lot of requests on what it was
