    I "WAS" the YYZ Tower controller who is first heard in this clip and then clears Air France to land at a later point, I took over the North Tower position at about the 5:30 mark of this video. I retired in Sept 2020. Kind of a nice memory!

In most of such videos theres always some people I just cant understand cuz the radio quality is so damn bad.. but with focused hearing you can still make out what they want, then theres others where you dont understand anything but static

    Use me as an agree button for the A350 for having the best modern cockpit

    • @carldsouza9436
      @carldsouza9436 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Nope, the A350 is sexy on the outside but the cockpit is bland and looks boring.
      The 787 and 747 have the best looking cockpits for me.

    • @Acepilot1312
      @Acepilot1312 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Contended Beatle nope, as much as the A350 looks sexy on the outside, its cockpit is exactly fitting to its exterior. It matches the aircrafts design theme. That said, i like the 787 and 747-8 cockpits too but the fact that the 787 Family and the 737 MAX Family have no longer the central EICAS panel in the center makes it kind of a bummer. You have to share it on the multi-function display with either the First Officer side or the Captain side, usually with the Pilot-Monitoring’s side. I like having equality between the cockpit. :)

      Most modern state-of-the-art airliner cockpit is A220. The less buttons and knobs, the better from a safety perspective. The fewer buttons the lower the possibility for pilots to screw things up.

    such a smooth and perfect landing. Such a starch contrast in comparison from my CRJ-900 with no fly-by-wire requiring many fine adjustments in trim and pitch in anything outside of calm conditions meanwhile the fly-by-wire of the 350 allow the pilot to set the aircraft pitch and immediately let go of the side stick with its fancy auto-trim. Definitely jealous!

    I love aviation period. Boeing and Airbus both make great planes. I want to fly on the A350 and 787 ASAP and the 777X when it enters service. Lucky enough to be born just late enough to fly the 747 a few times before they were pretty much gone from American carriers. The acceleration from those 4 engines was amazing. Would love to fly a 747-8 also. The craziest plane for me was one time coming home to California from Ohio, we flew out of Cleveland and I was in early elementary school so my memory was just good enough to remember getting to fly on what had to be one of the last DC8s in the United fleet. Had a female pilot for the hop to Chicago and I'll always remember the landing because my dad made a joke about how hard she put that thing don on the runway lol.

    I lv it when whatever aircraft im flying on as a passenger, when we r going through the clouds or really close to them, u really get a sense of the speed the aircraft is doing. Also, i lv the cockpit windows from the outside on the 350, they look really cool and make me think of the Comet cockpit windows. Ive not yet flown on the 350 and im looking 4ward 2 doing so, most likely with Virgin or BA also looking 4ward 2 flying on the 787.
