I think the Mugen 6 heatsink is optimized for the 2-fan configuration on the Black Edition, which is the reason it does better at higher RPM since the fin stack is too dense for 1 fan at low speed.
guys, make sure you use this cooler with a rear fan or step up to the black edition with an included rear fan, this cooler is super chunky and super thick and it really needs the rear fan to help move the hot air all the way thru the fin stack, if you use only one fan you are crippling its perforemance, some say it runs 3 degrees hotter without the rear fan, of course the biggest differences are at full load. If anyone is wondering the new scythe wonder fan seems to be a clone of a noctua fan, some of the other companies are cloning this design, you also see the design for video card fans, its a good design
will the Scythe Mugen 6 with 2 fans fit in this case ? I am using the Noctua NH-D12L Black yeah just sitting there it goes down to 40 but jumps around to 70 just downloading a game or something , I would not like to take it all apart and find out it won't fit , I feel the Scythe Mugen 6 should be using 2 fans and I do have the black edition I really wish I would have tried it at the start of the build .......I ended up under undervolting and working great but still want to know does 2 fans work with this case ?
Could you possibly do a review on the ID-Cooling Frozn A620? It fits in the NR200P as well. I was thinking on pulling the trigger on the Mugen 6 before I came across this review. Also curious to see how the Mugen would do with 2 fans on it. I run my 212 with 2 fans, and I’m just trying to find that me next best cooler that will fit and give me better temps
I bought 5 of the new Scythe Wonder Tornado 120mm fans to put in my AP201 case with a Noctua Chromax Black NH-U12A to cool a 7900 and a 4080 super gpu to finish it off. Love the fans.
Great review as always,,,quick question, I have Fuma 2 still on the box, very soon planning to get AM5 with 7800x3d, is good enough for this CPU or to get some other cooler?
Wonder how mugen 5 with new wonder tornado fan would do ? I have mugen 5 and with upgraded fans to 2x endorfy fluctus i gainded 5c against 2 stock fans .
That test is screwy. Those others are push pull. Add an identical fan and retest. Rush to review? You know the comp. It's on the shelf. Order, request, or buy. I can not draw a conclusion on performance, because I'd run it in push pull.
This is the single fan version of this cooler, so you can draw a conclusion that it's not that good lol. It should be tested as it comes out of the box, it shouldn't be tested in a way to benefit it when the other options have two fans out of the box. That said, there is a dual fan version of this cooler, but it's more expensive as well, so you should look for reviews of that version instead of accusing others.
@@RafitoOoO fair, but I’d say throughout its various revisions through the generations it’s done fairly well. The 2023 model is a beast for 30 bucks. Not sure if it’s the cooler, fan, or both combined. Definitely has a really good fan on it.

the wonder tornado seems to be a clone of a noctua fan 🙂
But for alot cheaper though for basically the same performance @MrSamadolfo

Hey! More than enough, 7800X3D is super easy to cool. You should be able to just dial the fan curve down for quietness.
@@MachinesMore that's great,,, thanks for your help!
Please, is the Fuma 2 SCFM-2000 model ready for AM5, please answer?
I would like to know a second 12x25 fan would fit on the back of the case if the motherboard heatsink wouldn't interfere?
Wonder how mugen 5 with new wonder tornado fan would do ?
I have mugen 5 and with upgraded fans to 2x endorfy fluctus i gainded 5c against 2 stock fans .
please review Scythe Kotetsu Mark II rev.b
but why, why the screw hole is not center, thats a deal breaker for me

3 degrees cooler with an additional rear fan, go read up tomshardware article

@@RafitoOoO212 isn’t 2 fans out of the box. Man the 212 is still such a fantastic cooler after all these years.
@@MS07B3-G0UF depends on the model of the 212.
