guys, make sure you use this cooler with the rear fan, the cooler is really thick and it really needs the rear fan to help move the hot air thru the big chunky cooler, its runs 3 degrees hotter without the rear fan
IIRC Scythe has a variant of Fuma 3 with Wonder Tornado in the works. If its fin stack is optimized for Wonder Tornado like this one it could perform even better.
One thing I love about Scythe is that similar to Noctua, their fans sound way more pleasant at the same sound pressure level than most other brands' fans
Could you start including fan normalized results? Im often curious how cheap/expensive fans could improve noise to performance ratio of air coolers (P12 Max, NF A12x25…)
@@MajorSpam That increases the overall price exponentially, there's no point in buying budget friendly coolers like Scythe or Thermalright so in that case you might as well just go for Noctua and call it a day.
No, or not yet. I’ve been asking them for one since we first came into contact. For some reason, nothing can be done about that. I’m still trying, but something tells me they are trying to make it disappear
@@athmaid I understand that max rpm has to be used for max potential product testing but i would rather have each product tested all at same rpm. Because the max rpm of product A will be a different number from product B. I really doubt anything goes over 1000 rpm with their coolers. it will be loud
Not only did you insult timeless Noctua fan color scheme but you also disrespected iconic Scythe screwdriver, this is blasphemy! Seems I misheard 04:33 part but in spite of this you're still a Noctua heretic!

Nice to look at some new scythe coolers again.

will you test am5 in the future?
Great single tower cooler, another great review

I think you should start to add temperature ambient in the info below the workload title ex 25°
Hi, good review. Only thing that it's missing is AMD CPU tests, since testing on Intel is not the same as testing on AMD. Cheers, keep it up!
Is the Mugen 6 a good fit for the 7800X3D?
Lightwork.
Can you please test the Alpenföhn Gletscherwasser 360 HS?

This is a good idea. Would be a shame to see a good cooler underperform because it's shipped with cheap fans

Get your favorite action figure and stick into the hole on top of the Scythe cpu cooler.
Could this Handle the R5 7600x?
It can handle anything, well I don't know about threadrippers and such.
Did they also update the Ninja?
No, or not yet.

Why not just test it with the rear fan removed?
Can you do P14 Max (just released) on the arctic freezer 2 or 3 review.
What do you mean it just released? It's been out since last month.
@@KonglomeratYTwow, product life cycle is really shortening where less than one month is no longer “just released”
Would you say this is a bette cooler then the Fuma 3?
he also included the scythe fuma 3 in the benchmarks. and it looks like this one performs better
Is the Dark Rock Elite the best air cooler according to those charts?
For his testing setup yes. And keep in mind that's max rpm

Day 3 of asking for a review (/debunk) of the Corsair ML120 fans. 🤞
The hole looks like an Apple UI toggle
how this compare to arctic 36 ?
Max rpm it's worse at least on LGA 1700 according to the graphs
All the graphs you need are in the video dude
does anyone use this cooler on i7 14700k? deserve?
I use it on my 14900k and it does a great job in combination with the Kryonaut thermal paste
Scythe is my cooler brand man
phantom spirit is a nobrainer
Sexy cooler
