I like the ketchup bottle grease "gun". That's worth the price of admission all by itself. :D
haha! I was thinking of reusing such a bottle for homemade "gels". Basically some super market value jam with a touch of taurine powder added and mixed in! Keep it in my feed bag!
Thanks for watching! The price of admission for Hobbybike51 is always FREE! The squeeze bottles were also free BTW.
Step 1: destroy threads
Step 2: threadless
Step 3: enjoy
This vid is a headset. You want this one: th-cam.com/video/wFU4LyTTafg/w-d-xo.html
Just a potentially dumb question.
In this way you managed to fit a 1 1/8" threadless fork instead of a 1" threaded fork? Or they had the same size? This second case sounds unusual very unusual, but more phisically reasonable
I appreciate the question. No, both are 1 1/8 and no it's not unusual at all when you compare the parts of a threaded to a threadless headset. I wouldn't bother making this vid otherwise. Call it collateral learning as this conversion is not only possible but can be achieved for free!
@@hobbybike51 oh cool! Didn't know that 1 1/8 threaded forks existed 😅
They were mass produced during the early hybrid craze, usually identified with those adjustable 25.4mm quill stems a v-brakes. I guess I'm old AF lol!@@claudiofiero8523
@@hobbybike51 naaa I don't think so!
I'm 24 and I've been riding occasionally for many years but started getting mildly interested in bike mechanics and components only in the last months 😅
That's awesome! It's a great hobby that can pay for itself indefinitely. People toss good stuff all the time and don't even know it. Thanks for the support and enjoy your weekend! @@claudiofiero8523
I don’t understand. You removed a threadless fork/headset and refitted it? Nothing threaded involved?
Good morning! It's true, you don't understand. Listen to the intro once more then listen to the next few sentences which explain what else I've shown in the video; if needed, read along by turning on the CC option, which is quite excellent on TH-cam. I appreciate you've asked a question though, so thanks!
Alright don’t get your knickers in a twist, just your video was called a conversion and all you did was clean the headset. Also only the race pressed onto the csu is called the crown race.
You're experiencing a subjective comprehension issue. Watch and listen again multiple times and subscribe to learn more lol!@@AnotherMrLizard
@@hobbybike51 I work on bikes daily but I tend to use correct parts, not cobbling together random bits from old cheap bikes. I’ll leave you to that. And you’re liking your own reply’s lol.
Whoa lol! Skoolz me more! Let it all out, my good feller. I'm also a hobbyist behavioural psychologist so I can listen. Do tell...@@AnotherMrLizard
