What about a nas drive with a traditional hard drive thats connects using a thunderbolt cable that should just be as fast as an portable external ssd right?
@@RawansReviews you are correct i went back to me nas drive which i havnt used in 2 years and used black magic pathetic speeds write 257 mbs and read 1567 mbs

Unfortunately not. Thunderbolt is a connection interface, your bottleneck here will remain the HD itself. A spinning drive can’t reach SSD speeds.
