Dude, I'm a 53 yr woman and never really wore makeup till last year. I was featured at the Smithsonian in Washington DC for my fundraising efforts by the American Kidney Fund and I wanted to try to look my best. Makeup was not really my thing all these years. I have been watching you for a year now and you really seem blunt, honest and caring. I love you Wayne!! Been watching for several years and i love how honest you are and how you encourage minimalism when it comes to makeup. Your techniques are amazing and I've gotten a lot of my techniques from you over the years. Continue to be amazing ❤❤❤
That video from 10 years ago opened my eyes to makeup. And this “formula” works wonders. But I have to say that it’s better to use just a bit of exhibit A or be very light handed because it is highly pigmented and very, very red. But once perfected it’s a phenomenal look!
Omgosh this powder foundation looks amazing on you!!! I’ve got aging skin and I know you’re a little older as well, and seeing how beautiful it makes your complexion… stunning!!!❤

I was literally trying to find the original tutorial when I stumbled on this!It was driving me crazy trying to find it using all the key words I could remember (ie max factor red cream blush, bareminerals powder, skiing look, sunburnt look) but luckily you recreated it... either way, thank you, it's my favourite look!
I bought NARS Exhibit A based on your previous sunkissed look video. I would have never bought had you not used it because it looks so scary-red, it lives up to its name 😊

Wayne! Thank you soooooo much. I watched this and was struck by your comment about the foundation … “remember once upon a time. Bare Minerals?” Yaaaaassssss I do and it was my go to foundation for YEARS until it wasn’t (ruined by corporate America and Wall Street). It was perfect for my oily skin. Ever since it was ruined I have been in search of a makeup that will not slide off of my 62 year old oily nose. I have a drawer full of foundations that I have tried and none really work. I bought Nude by Nature on your recommendation and it IS like the old Bare Minerals. Lasts all day. Did not slide off of my nose nor cake in the corners. Looks flawless and I was so happy that the color I chose was a perfect match to my skin tone. I have used this sunburn trick you showed here and love it. Thanks again!! ❤❤❤
Thank you for this! My sister hates makeup but used to love to tan in her earlier years . Finally I can give her a great look she will feel and look great in! Love this so much!
I've been doing just this, only with my peachy cream blush. I'm going to stretch myself and get some red and give it a whirl! Love you Wayne - thanks for another great idea!!
I remember when you did it 10 years ago and did it - don’t know why I stopped. Only thing I added was a touch of the red under brow on brow bone because I seems to burn there baturally - nice for days I just don’t want to bother with mascara shadow and all the rest! Thanks for bringing it back to my brain!!
This is definitely a keeper, managed to do it with my Bobbi brown blush and heliocare colour sun touch hydragel spf 50 and I’m really happy with it. Need a new blush though so going to buy the Nars. We love you Wayne Goss and there’s nothing you can do about it 😀xxxxx
Wayne, you look younger (even before makeup). I'm not sure what all you're doing, but it at least appears that married life is good for you. And as always, thank you for all the great tips and instruction.
I’m so excited because I’ve always done this for summer and i know nothing about makeup i just thought the blush looked like a sun burst glow like that 😂 awesome to see a MUA do it and get better tips. Also what’s up with bare minerals not continuing their concealer stick they had? I loved it - anyone know?
Thank you for a great video … and for mentioning how Bare Minerals was destroyed (after being gobbled up by a conglomerate). I used to wear their loose foundation, blush and eyeshadows, but when they went corporate and killed all the fun, I lost interest. I occasionally use the original loose minerals and have a blush and eyeshadow in shades discontinued long ago that I cannot match anywhere, but obviously, even though the last of my stash was only recently opened, the items may have been produced 20 years ago and are probably not great to wear. 😮 They still look great, though.
@@annsener3378 I still use the original, but back in the day they were not such a bland brand. Their loose blushes and eyeshadows were really beautiful. Their bb cream and liquid foundations were nothing I ever bought after the first try. If you are looking for great loose mineral foundation in a lot of shades, go for it.
