- I finally got around to play Life is Strange True Colors and wow, just wow. I loved every minute of it. I've been a fan of Steph since Before the Storm and when I saw her in this I FREAKED!! Big crush on her back then and in True Colors is just reinforced it. Alex was a great addition to the Life is Strange universe to me. Everything about this game was amazing ❤️

You have to consider that Jed is Ryan’s dad, it’s so much more confusing for him in that moment. Knowing there’s a possibility that his dad has been a later this whole time and even tried to kill his crush?

@@DryDam. Yes, I can agree about Finn. To be fair LiS 2 had terrible options for either gender. Ryan is definitely more conventional/relatable than LiS 2 options (hippy, stoner, criminal etc.), even if his dad is a psycho but I found him to be boring. At least he was more relatable being older (25-26), I guess, so that was a change. I mean Warren is like 16. Lots of fans are in their late teens and older. So at least they catered to older age groups this time.

Read the comics "Life is Strange" is the continuation of what happened in Max's life if you choose to stay with Chloe in the first game. In the comics they explain that whatever you choose, the city will be destroyed in one reality and in another reality you will stay with Chloe and there is a variety of other opinions. You can also see how Max continues his life with Chloe and develops his powers, they show how she can jump between the universes that exist and in one of them you can see Rachel (what she would have been like if nothing bad had happened to her), they explain how all endings are canon because a multiverse exists. It's really amazing how the comics develop, they also make references to the survivors of the storm because not all of them die, and you can see characters like Steph and Victoria among others.
It's like really the only thing you could do in LiS 1 was choose a reality because time is not linear, it's amazing.
@@anadac9124 yep I've read some of the comics! I think Rachel and Chloe's timeline the town wasn't gone. Even though comics Rachel lost the mystery of game Rachel and there are potential for improvements, it is nice to see them live and be happy in the latest forget me not comics

I always loved Steph and when I heard she was in true colors I was needy to play it. She was the most precious character there and always will be. I loved her from begging and I will love her till the end. I didn't hesitate with romancing her, she was the main reason why I played True colors. Steph is simply an amazing character that makes you fall in love with her without any problem. She is adorable, sweet, funny, beautiful, and very talented in music. She always was.

recently finished the game and dlc. I really liked it, but there were a few questions about Steph.
Why did she decide to leave the band and stay in Haven?
And if she liked the city so much, then why was she going to leave? (rooftop scene with Alex).
At the end of the game, I chose to stay in Haven with Steph, but I'm worried that Steph will leave Alex sooner or later and go traveling.
Will Steph regret staying in Haven in your opinion, or will she have a great future with Alex?

I'm not an expert or anything on this game so I don't know the specifics and stuff but from what I think, she decided to stayed in Haven the first time (the dlc part) because it was a point in her life she needed a job and place to stay (since she left the band, I think it was because she didn't really love the girl and she felt it was too awkward or not for her because of the feelings?) And then when she was about to leave Haven (rooftop scene) I think it was because there was another opportunity for her to play again because she does love music, then when the feelings for Alex came into play she decided to stay (or leave with Alex, I chose both endings 😂) but I think she'll have a happy future with Alex, the way Alex and her are into music I just thought if they wanted to move, they'd move together, or if they wanted to play music and stay in Haven they could post it online and get a following that way 😋 but this is just my opinion, I'm not sure how others think it'd pan out 😅
Steph left the band due to a breakup with Izzie (her other band member) it was told in the beginning of Wavelengths when she's getting interviewed. She stayed because she lost a bet to Gabe in a game of foosball (also mentioned in Wavelengths and chapter 2). She was going to leave Haven because even though she did like it there she wasn't really happy due to both the loss of Gabe and she couldn't really play music there anymore due to not having a consistent crowd (just a theory).
If you get the true ending with Steph it all goes great for her and Alex because they are both happy for each other with their passion of music and other things like Fantasy and D&D.

In the LARP scene I went to see how Steph felt and she was red with anger: "Alex is allowed to think he's hot. I need to get over this". Inside I was (my angel??? you won't get over anything, I'm so into you I just didn't want to see you asking someone else out)

I kinda hope that in the same way True Colors went back to some of the stuff from the original game like a female protagonist and small town with a tight-knight community and updated and elevated it with a new approach, new technology and a brand new story, the next one can take some of the elements of Life is Strange 2 and do the same. To be clear I’m not one of those who think True Colors ripped off the original or whatever bullshit people are saying, so I don’t want that for the next one either-it doesn’t need to be a road trip or anything but it could be. Point is there’s elements that work well that deserve to be utilized again.
