Thank you very much for the feedback, Vani Madam. Agree that a South India meal is best savoured with your hand, but I got completely carried away by this Course meal concept and the porcelain dishes. It slipped my mind and ended up with spoons.😊
Sir, I have given address and Google map link in video description. I’m sharing it for you again: Address: 2, Bhagirathi Ammal St, Rama Kamath Puram, T. Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600017 maps.app.goo.gl/8DhkZuNfSNpxaWSG7
I have not so ultramodern pattu veedu. Just placing dome old use items cannot be called traditional meal.More over in patti veedu they serve food in banana leaf and sit on the floor and eat.Just naming patti veedu cannot be traditional food place. The rate is costly for the meal which u showed.
Ha ha.. Yep, on hearing the name Paati Veedu we would look for and try to associate with something Grandmotherly. However, this place is a high end fine-dining restaurant, where they have used that catchy name Paati Veedu and infused some antique elements in the interiors, that's all. Paati Veedu symbolization ends there. The food is a fusion/experimental food which can be categorized under avant-garde cuisine. Trying this full-course meal concept with our South Indian meal itself may not get acceptance/appreciation that easily, as we wouldn't be willing to pay a premium for the regular Vaazhai Ilai Sappadu, whatever gourmet meal it could be.
From the bill I couldn't make out the price as the ink faded away. Since I was not sure, I didn't want to give the wrong information. It is somewhere around 1100/- per meal, I guess.
This place seems to cater only to a small group of rich persons. You did not say the price. I do not know if you had viewed the food review videos by Mr Manoj of Coimbatore in his channel BANANA LEAF UNLIMITED. He tells the price very clearly. But as an EXCLUSIVE restaurant this Paati Veedu does look fine.
From the receipt, I couldn't make out the price, as the ink has faded away. It must be 1100/- for a 5 course meal. Yes, it is a fine dining place and hence the price.

This place food costs a bomb.very expensive.
It is not a regular eatery and they brand them as a high-end fine dining restaurant. Hence this price is not a surprise.
We were there yesterday. They offered only 7 & 9 course meals!😎
Oh is it!!! Did you like the meal?

Surprisingly no parupu podi ghee
It is a fully Tamil menu, so no Andhra stuff like parupu podi.
