Wow. Amazing job. I wish Honda would build such a small and lightweight car again with electic motors. I had 2 Honda CRX cars long ago. They were so much fun to drive
Hope you keep it period correct. The CRX is rare even in the Asia region where its originate.Rarely get to see them in car show/meet let alone daily driven ones.
got one of these as my second car, its so much fun to drive, so much fun that my girl went out and bought one with a jdm d15b. can never go wrong with a honda. power to weight ratio is fun
How long start to finish? Just picked up my 2nd CRX a month or so ago had one about 10yrs ago and didn't know what I had it was a 91 so completely stock for here (we got sohc crap) now that I've got the young and most of the dumb over with I've got my 2nd CRX a 91dx didn't want another sunroof car and I have ex/so everything from my 91ex sedan and 90 hatch
Whats up with the rust issue? This days l've seen some cars with rustic looking wrap and fake rust. Is it some hipster crossover millenial thingy that is cool and trendy?
past damage repaired in japan, they had a spot weld puller on the rear quarter to pull a dent , where it welds the puller to the body it burns off the E coat on the inside panel, after about 10 years those bare metal spots start to rust hence why it had rust coming back up via the upper quarter

Do you want to sell it?
Cool restoration. Terrible music. Why go through all of that work and not re-paint the valve cover?
valve cover was the very last job done before it went back to the customer. still have this car in every year for other work
